Wheelchair accessible Queen room

We stayed in a lovely, queen wheelchair accessible room for two nights - Room 223, with a view of the harbour. The location was very convenient - just a 5 min walk/wheel to the main street & restaurants, and 1km on concrete pathway to the Kiama blowhole. A bonus was the onsite undercover, complimentary carpark (2.0m height clearance), with 2 wheelchair bays near the lifts, and complimentary bottle of wine! The room had ample room next to the left hand side of the bed (which was approx. 24" high) to park a wheelchair. The bathroom was large and fully accessible standards compliant with a left hand transfer wheelchair height toilet. The discoloured, old toilet seat could do with replacing.

High class location close to the rock poos, marina and famous blow hole/lighthouse. Rooms were spacious, very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. I will be staying here again on my family holiday next year. The gym facilities were outstanding also.

We had a large room with all the amenities you would expect but I can’t say I felt it was value for money. We have stayed at nicer places for far less. Our room was comfortable, reasonably modern and clean. Staff were always friendly and helpful. We were not a fan of the shower/tub combo, it is not good for people who are tall or short. Breakfast is a standard buffet, staff here too were always friendly and helpful. The coffee machine only makes cold (and not on purpose) coffee, not great. Pro tip… don’t get room 121 as you are above the entrance to the carpark and every car hits the grate and it can be noisy.

We stayed here for one night on the 25 th January for our wedding anniversary. Front desk staff are very friendly. We were greeted by Sophie who provided us with outstanding service. Check in process was very good & she allocated a good room and arranged for a fruit platter to be delivered to our room. Thank you Sophie for you your warm welcome & outstanding service. We booked a balcony room which was on the 1st floor facing the street. Rooms are soundproof and there is no traffic noice. Room was very clean & bathroom was very spacious.shower pressure was a little low but we were ok with it. Good location within walking distance to shops & restaurants and blowhole. However as the street is a bit sloping walking to & back from the shops may difficult if you have mobility issues. The hotel does provide complimentary undercover parking and it is easy to get around in need. We had a wonderful stay.

We have been Accor Gold Members for a while and have recently used our rewards points to stay at Sebel Kiama. On arrival we were created warmly with all Accor membership upgrades being applied - thank you this is the first for our travels in Australia. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed with a view to the harbour. The rain placed a damper on our dinner place but Yves came to the rescue, the staff were most accomodating even though we did not have a booking and the cocktails were perfect! Thank you for a well presented Accor group hotel. Please pass on my thanks and appreciation to the staff on duty during our stay.
