Everyone in this place is competitive. So, they are hard at work. Front-desk is welcoming. Breakfast is excellent. They are open late. This is like being at home in this traditional building. A lot of merchants are proposing their specialties in the station's area. Buses and trains are humming from everywhere (one of the best-connected towns in "banlieue", from that vantage point)

Basics: - location: good for us as we visited friends at a 10min was away; for Paris visitors you have a direct train to Paris around the corner, free parking on weekends - bed: mediocre. Not the usual quality boxspring I’m used to at Ibis hotels. But we slept ok. Two extra pillows in the cupboard but one had no pillow case so it couldn’t be used - shower: shower water pressure is fine and temperature is stable. But it’s super narrow with a CURTAIN !! coming your way and the water tap taking up over 1/3RD of the space; towels were thin and had stains on both days - climate: fine in winter. No AC, there’s a fan provided lol - breakfast: was included and really decent - staff: very friendly For our purpose it was fine but I wouldn’t spend a whole week at this hotel. Plus: we had perfect Eiffel Tower view

I have stayed at this property many times over the past eight years but this year was more disappointing than last year. It is really in need of renovation. My booking got all messed up. I used a second party to book my dates but the property only booked five of the nine days I had originally booked. Their reason was never clear but in the end they claimed they had no rooms for my last four nights even after booking the dates earlier. You must keep in mind that most of these rooms are extremely small. The room I was given, 112, was very worn, badly stained carpet, mattress sagging in the center, and the smallest bathroom of any room I have stayed in over the last eight years. I really didn’t think it was possible but this one had a shower so small you can’t help but bump the shower valve and shut the water off! Breakfast “Buffett” really hadn’t changed much but if they ran out of something it was just to bad. Typical items, croissants, coffee, orange juice, cheese, yogurt, and some fruit. Located ten minutes from an RER station, you can be at Paris Saint Lazare train station in ten minutes from which you can get to anywhere in Paris by subway. Also located in a residential area so there are a lot of markets and restaurants in the area including a post office and pharmacy. There is also a McDonalds in the area opened 24 hours. Wish I could be more positive about Ibis Styles but it is what it is. Happy and safe travels.

Water leak

I stayed at the ibis Style Asnières Centre from December 7th to 10th. Shortly after I arrived in my room, I noticed a weird noise that sounded like water dripping, and turns out that’s exactly what it was. The heater right next to the bed was leaking water and dripping onto the carpet. The whole area was soaking wet and discolored. The solution to the problem seemed to be a cut up plastic bottle (pictured) that was hung under the leak. However, the water dripping onto the plastic was VERY loud and disturbing and made it hard to sleep. Every morning and evening I had to dump the filled up bottle into the sink. In addition to that, the shower was TINY. I’m not a tall or big person, but the shower was so small that the shower curtain inevitably stuck to my body. The shower head could not be moved up as the button to do so was jammed and it wouldn’t budge just pushing it up, therefore I had to crouch down to wash my hair (I’m 5”2 / 159cm so that’s a very low shower head). There was also an issue with the bathroom door, it was very very hard to close, impossible to close properly without using force, and when it was finally fully closed, it was ridiculously hard to open it again which made for a pretty scary moment. All in all I have to say I was really disappointed with my stay and will not be returning.

The hotel is very basic, no air-con and tired rooms which have very little sound proofing. At the price there are lots of better places to stay in Paris. It's more a B&B then a hotel. No tea/coffee in the rooms and the breakfast was very poor by UK standards. Location has great potential for businesses in the area but desperately needs a full refurb and service updated for the price.

We don't have any cafe/ther in the rooms but they are available for free at the front desk. Breakfast is a continental buffet at will with our famous fresh orange juice.
