This was a stay at this particular IBIS. On arrival, there was nobody on reception. Eventually somebody appeared from the restaurant handed us a key with very few words and disappeared again. The reception area was very pleasant and the restaurant looked OK, although we did not eat there other than breakfast the next morning which was of the usual IBIS good standard. We found our room only to discover that we had for some unknown reason been allotted a room for the disabled on the ground floor. It was horrible, tired, shabby and smelly as though it had been used by smokers for years and never refurbished. As it was now 10pm and we had an early start the next morning, we accepted the room but will not be staying there again. It was very disappointing since it was worlds away from our usual experience of the Ibis Styles in St. Malo Port

This hotel is an easy stop from the highway, close to stores, there is even a bakery right next to the hotel. It’s not far from Anjou and on the way to Rennes (Brittany). Lots of parking spaces. The staff was very friendly, even with a late check in. The hotel looks new or renovated, the rooms were clean and had what was needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was included in the reservation price, and was delicious, lots of choices.

In an ideal location on your way back up to the North of France. We stayed on a Sunday so the restaurant wasn't open, but was able to get something small from in and around the local area. Very clean, quiet hotel. There's no gym as described, apart from a bike and cross trainer. Rooms were fairly good, good facilities, one or two english channels. Breakfast was nice, fairly good variety and fresh orange juice.

this is an excellent hotel, in an ideal location, had an excellent breakfast and a very good dinner the service was some of the best we have had. The hotel is good value for money the rooms are a good size with a good tv.

Booked this hotel after considering similar in Angers but read the reviews and went ahead with a non refundable offer 7 weeks before arrival. Arrived after 300 mile run across country to be told the restaurant was shut for private event. Was told to try Mc Donalds or go into town. Did a recce round the town, Kebabs only. Should have walked away then but had already paid. Receptionist said she would contact the management,of course no one appeared. Why Oh Why did Ibis not email me prior to arrival and give me the chance to change my plans. I am a loyalty card holder and consider this treatment to be very poor. Hotel in fact satisfactory.
