We only had one night here after a wedding in Magny Cour and had a room overlooking the Loire river which is looking very poor and in need of rain. We were given a standard room which was small but had a reasonable desk and fridge but no safe, free parking right in front of the hotel

Not staying, can't eat! Very strange business practice!

Let me first be clear, we didn't stay at this hotel, but visited this week for something to eat. At first was told by reception it was possible, only later to be told when the waiter staff discovered we were not staying, that we could not. Food was for guest only! I've never heard of such a think, and quite happily took my business elsewhere. Hotel was very dated, in need of updating, so was not too disappointed, it was only for the view that we thought it was a good idea.

Located at the borders of the Loire. Rooms are OK and clean. Bathroom is Ok and clean. Bed is very good. Staff is very friendly. Plenty of space to park your car outside or in a payed garage. Building is dated and could use an update. Breakfast is buffet.

We stayed in Nevers looking out over the Loire and the Bridge The hotel has great access and a secure car park We ate at the hotel and the food was absolutely delightful- a wonderful surprise. We had a pre-dinner drink on a very sunny terrace watching the world go by with various people enjoying the river. The staff at dinner could not do enough for us and l must thank Daniel with his help in picking the wine. Again being able to sit outside and have breakfast the next morning listening to the Cathedral bells was another lovely moment at a hotel where the staff really worked hard and cared greatly for the comfort of the guests I would have no hesitation in returning when next in the areaa

The location was great. It was only few minutes walk from the town. The hotel is situated by the river and we had a room which overlooked the river and was very quiet. The room was a reasonable size and the bathroom was very good size. However there was no safe in the room which was a surprise and disappointment. Although the decor in the bedrooms was tired they were well serviced. There was very secure parking which we paid for. The staff on reception were very helpful. We had dinner in the hotel which we would rate 6/10. It was very acceptable. Breakfast was the big let down. The service was not accommodating. The cooked food was very unappetising and looked as if it had not been properly cooked! The other food was only ok as the choice was not great. When I asked for the gluten free bread I was directed to one remaining roll! . In other hotels there has been better choice. Accor hotels do need to address dietary requirements as they lag behind other hotels and restaurants in this regard. Yes … we would stay there again but would not necessarily be our first choice.
