Nice hotel but ask for a first floor room.

The hotel is nice but the room we had on the 3rd floor was small and there was an elevator only to the 2nd floor so we had to carry our bags up quite a few stairs. The bathroom was small and the tub was very high and not easy to get into. The utility bar is in the tub instead of on the outside which does not help one get in or out. The mirror in the bathroom is so high I could not see myself to use it. Our tour group had pre planned dinner there 2 nights and it was good and the staff was attentive. The breakfasts had a very good variety to choose from. Nice patio area to have a cocktail too.

Rude staff at the reception

We were given a room in which the door to the terrace was broken. There was no doorhandle and the door couldn’t be locked. This meant that just anyone could enter our room and steal our stuff. When we went to the reception “Ines” told us she would find a solution. She never did anything and when we went back to ask again they told us there was nothing they could do. “Collin” very rudely asked what we wanted her to do and then she told us she’s no technician and no other room was available. So we just had to accept it, nothing was offered for our inconvenience. This CAN NOT happen in a hotel… We did not feel safe at all. Also our room didn’t get any robes, while others did. The hamman sauna was out of service as well. This would all not have bothered me this much, if they would just have been kinder to us…

Good Golfhotel but dated

This is a hotel on the golfcourse which are worth to play, the hotel is outdated. The corridors are very dark with little lighting. The rooms are reasonable in size, the bathroom is rather small with very poor lighting, difficult to shave and for the ladies to make up. The shower is in the plastic bathtub which is extremely slippery, the shower gel is located at the other side of the tub, so you have to move from shower to bathgel, this is very dangerous, so take care that you don’t slip. The breakfast was ok nothing special but good. An excellent golfhotel but take care, The restaurant in the golfclub is not our choice, not expensive but not special at all.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived here as part of a Trafalgar tour. We might have been lucky with our room, but we had a lovely view over the pool, and our room was clean, modern and comfortable. We had prompt service by the pool from the bar. We had a lovely dinner as part of the tour in the clubhouse restaurant, and quite a few of us enjoyed the bar after dinner with good service, My husband was disappointed he didn’t get to play golf but the course looked very nice.

Nice place, but beware the overcharge

Stayed there last weekend. Nice place, facilities fine (although Steam room wasn't functional) and staff pleasant. However, what left a bad taste in my mouth was that we were overcharged, only reaised on the drive to the ferry and subsequent attempts at resolving this have been ignored. Not a small amount (±€100) butenough to make the end of our 3 week holiday taste a little sour... Nice place, as I said, good location, but please make sure you cross reference your bar/restaurant bills before you leave. Still very upset I've been ignored, despite several emails.
