Port Douglas is a lovely place and the hotel was great. Room was fabulous (and air-con was a welcome relief after the humidity of the day). Wonderful pool. Weather could have been better (it was very wet), but what can you do? Would come back again.

Being a regular visitor to PD I was excited to stay somewhere new knowing the Peppers name gave me high hopes. Fridge was faulty, no management contactable all weekend, single beds didn't have doonas (none in whole hotel), exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work. We won't be staying again and won't be recommending to our many family and friends who travel there often.

Peppers Port Douglas is really well run, with great friendly staff who make you feel at home. The pool is amazing & works really well with the bar/restaurant alongside. Super close to the beach & a short stroll to the shops down the road. The cocktail jugs were great to share & the food was really nice

Our wedding night at Peppers Beach Club Port Douglas was simply magical. The room was stunning, with beautiful décor and breath taking views from the balcony. I came into Peppers Port Douglas a couple of times over the last few weeks for food and drink and can’t recommend it to anyone. The late afternoon/ evening bar staff are very unfriendly, unhelpful and unwilling. The British lady on the bar, Hariott I think her name is, is the worst. Horrible attitude and inhospitable. It seems like asking for a drink is a chore which interrupts the constant chatting to the other staff, huffy and too self absorbed to actually want to serve customers. Exactly how you employ people with an attitude like that I have no idea - suggest you find someone else if you want the business! Popped in for breakfast as well and that was bad. 30 dollars for a sparse, scabby buffet that has seen better days. Toasters that don’t toast and climate warm fruit juice. Was thinking about potentially booking a room next time I’m in town but with that kind of horrendous staff attitude there’s no way. I’m not going to carry on contact on this - just a lesson learned not to bother again. Never again Peppers Port Douglas. Advise anyone and everyone to go to any other place in town, it’ll be much more pleasant.
