Meal with the family at Toro Loco. Amazing steak house, a real must if you are visiting or staying at Rixos. Aneesh was our waiter and looked after us extremely well - flaming chocolate burger was a real show piece and tasted great! The best meal we’ve had all holiday - thank you Aneesh and team!

Just back from a 10-day family holiday at Rixos The Palm with two of our daughters (12 and 16) in tow. We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite which was more than big enough and could easily have accommodated the other two daughters comfortably, had they also travelled with us. The last two times we’ve holidayed in Dubai, we stayed just up the road at the Anantara, so we had modest expectations, even though having read a few reviews before we travelled, the overwhelming feedback was really positive. Our experience proved to be outstanding. From the great room we had, to our super-efficient housekeeper Irish, who demonstrated some amazing skills every day with her towel decorations on our beds alongside delivering a spotlessly clean room, every interaction with the staff at Rixos was a pleasurable experience. Many of the reviews cite how friendly and helpful all the staff are, and I’d endorse those views wholeheartedly. One of the contributing reasons for things running so well that was evident to us, is the number of staff visible and present, and within that presence, you can see managers everywhere, keeping an active eye and supporting their teams with a hands-on approach. In the evenings we dined at the Italian L’Olivo, Bodrum and Toro Loco. For us, our favourite was Toro Loco, followed by L’Olivo. Bodrum had the best setting being right on the beach along with being able to watch the nightly entertainment whilst dining, however for us, the choice of food wasn’t as extensive as the other two, hence ranking it third of the three. For breakfast, we preferred Turquoise to A La Turca, mainly because it was a little less busy. We were also looked after so well by Yusuf, one of the managers, Amulyah, one of the many excellent waiters/waitresses, and the number one omelette maker, chef Naizjan. Choice of food was in our opinion very good, and you could mix things up day to day to keep the variety. Having the meats and fish freshly cooked to order at lunch and dinner in the al a carte restaurants, was a welcome option. Sarah and the other ladies at the coffee shop in the main hotel lobby are so friendly and prompt with making whatever brew you choose. Around the pool and on the beach, the guys bringing drinks and snacks to our sun loungers and cabana did a fantastic job keeping us hydrated. Hands down the best of these was Khant. Super friendly, efficient, attentive and non-stop all day. Again, Guarev, who I think was one of the managers, along with Jagadish, were also visibly present throughout the day keeping things ticking over effectively. The tickets availing free access to Aqua Adventure Waterpark are a great touch. We went twice and managed to do all of the more extreme rides without having to queue more than 5 minutes for all but one ride. I used the gym a few times to kid myself I was staying ahead of the daily alcohol and food intake. It’s well-equipped with ultra-modern kit and has everything you need in terms of free weights, cardio machines, multi-functional cable machine, smith machine and weights machines. I didn’t do any of the classes at the outdoor fitness area however I did do the sunset yoga session they laid on from the visiting yoga teacher. A truly excellent holiday in a great hotel, staffed by an excellent team of people and we would highly recommend this resort.

This was our third visit in as many years to the Rixos Palm, and we’re already planning next year. Everything from the moment the team open your transfer door on arrival is absolutely fantastic, the service from everyone you come into contact with is exceptional. The rooms are great, large and bright. The minibar filled everyday and included on the AI. We’ve a coeliac in the family, in need of a strict gluten free diet, and this is the best place we’ve ever been for catering to our daughter’s allergy. Every restaurant or eatery are brilliant and there is a special allergy kitchen to ensure that people with allergies are looked after, staff also remember who you are and asked every morning and night what she would like to eat. The a la carte restaurants are great too, all will look after you. The food is amazing, in every restaurant. The included non-motorised water sports offer a great way to see nearby sites and they are also cool just to do 😎 And we barely see the kids after making little friends and are off playing football or in the pool. There are too many people to thank for making our stay amazing yet again, but I hope if any management see this that I don’t miss anyone from the following list. Our stay at the Rixos The Palm has been a pleasure in all aspects! The hotel is sparkling clean, luxurious and offering everything needed for a great vacation! There are beaches, pools, restaurants, kids club and sports amenities and entertainment for adults and kids. All the staff are brilliant, always smiling & happy to help. A special mention to Bebo from Front Desk always smiling and showing the unbeatable oriental hospitality, he was friendly, attentive and carefull!!! We were able to relax in the best way and we will definitely be returning.

All staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Ever. Friendly smiling and willing constantly. Suits was lovely and absolutely enormous. Food was plentiful and with a great choice changing daily. A truly amazing holiday .cant wait to be able to go back .
