Secure low budget option as a base to Munich city centre

The hotel is a no-frills options but with good connection to city centre. If you want to dedicate most of your time exploring Munich, this is a viable option to use as your base. Only one restaurant is near the hotel, but there are other hotels in the vicinity where you can go for an evening drink.

Indeed we do not have an own restaurant, but offer beside the Mini Market with Drinks and Snacks also a 24/7 wending machine. Otherwise, there are few restaurants around the hotel. I was travelling, without access to a computer (only iphone) and when I got the confirmation mail asking for on line check-in, the address of the hotel was not in the mail. I knew I had to go to Muchen Ost Messe and looked for the address on Safari, I found the address of the Ibis Suite Munchen Ost Messe. I didn't realise this was another hotel. When I arrived, the hotel was closed. I called the number that was on the door and got no answer.... so, I continued my travel (after more than 1000 km that same day

Dear Mrs Vandermoere, it is really a shame, that you post your bad review about our hotel in every media, although you never visited our hotel. You have reserved your room in our hotel, the Ibis Budget Munich East Messe. It is not our fault, that you were not able to use your Iphone Mail or Safari. Just to mention beside, there is not exisiting an Ibis Suite Munchen Ost Messe. We prepared everything for your stay last saturday, our team was awaiting your arrival till late at night. You could have taken the opportunity to call our hotel, the phone number, as well as the correct address is in every reservation confirmation. So just to make clear: Our hotel is not closed, even not during the lockdown time. For this reason, your review is not usable for our management team. Kind regards, Sanjeev Wasan

I stayed in the Ibis Budget Munich East Messe on quite a number of occasions and it compares very favourably to the other Ibis Budget Hotels in Munich, which, incidentally, were also good, equally clean and very efficiently managed) by pleasant and knowledgeable staff. However, while very similar in layout, the interior decoration Ibis Budget Munich East Messe is by far superior to many other hotels of its class and it has ample - usually free of charge - interior and exterior parking space. I can highly recommend it therefore.. As to the location, I also give it highest marks, but this may be because most of my friends and family are living rather close by.

No-frills accommodation close to the Fair

Decent accommodation to spend the night in Munich near the Fair and with good connections to City centre is a good base for people wanting to enjoy the City rather than spending much time in and around the hotel itself.
