Nice from far - but - far from nice!

There really is nothing physically wrong with this property. A nice looking property that is not really old and with decent facilities. Guest rooms are a bit small but appropriate for the Mercure brand and quit well appointed and A/C that works. No, the issues are all related how this property is run. The rooms, especially the bathrooms are simply not clean, with dirty toilets and mold on the tile. The wall mounted shampoo container was empty upon arrival and never replenished. If one takes a closer look at the overall quality of housekeeping in the rooms, once comes to the conclusion that it really is quite terrible. The carpets in the public areas are dirty and in desperate need of shampooing or replacing. The property has a " great room" that is used for meetings and get togethers. But it is also used for screaming children early in the morning, although this room is surrounded by an atrium arrangement with many guest rooms. Net, net - this property needs to either step up or find a new management company. The only positive I can come up with is that the front desk staff is friendly and helpful.

Rooms were excellent except smelling of cigarettes. Breakfast was amazing. Location is a little out of the way but for a golf holiday it is perfect. Great restaurants are within walking distance. Highly recommend, they have rental bicycles and great cinference facilities available

Great stay ! Family friendly, clean and modern hotel located in the outskirts of Krefeld. The restaurant and bar offers beverages and food at reasonable prices. My family and I stayed there for one night on our way to our final holiday destination in the North of France.

The reception was friendly and efficient, the place is in the middle of nowhere with lots of green and one should get a relaxed night of sleep. But no. I had a very unpleasant smell in my room from the drain. Told them at check out, no reaction. Not even a free coffee. Don't expect to have a long sleep as the doors close with so much noise, it is impossible to sleep. Bang, bang, bang.... non stop.
