Seeking accomm convenient both to Newie and the Hunter Valley we chose to stay here for 4 nights which was a mistake. At its discount price it may be an acceptable option for 1 night but no longer. The rooms are tiny, showers like in a caravan without even a washbasin. We asked for our room to be made up mid stay giving 24 hours notice as required. It didn’t happen. But the worst feature is the beds. Very thin, and appalling pillows which are even thinner and wrinkly. On the up side, it does have a laundry and the staff are very pleasant. Well done ladies.

Just don't, rooms are like dirty jail cells!

If I could give a rating of zero I would! I've stayed in budget accommodation before but this was more like a dirty jail cell. Dirty hallways, the floor in our room felt like it hadn't been vacuumed or mopped for weeks. Tiny moulded plastic shower room that looked like it had been ripped straight out of an old caravan (you couldn't even call it a bathroom!) with a toilet and shower with no shower curtain so water went everywhere as soon as the shower was turned on! The sink to wash your hands was on the other side of the room. The pillows were yellow and brown under the pillowcases so we used our own beach towels as pillows. Our little boy had to sleep in our bed as there was a suspect looking brown stain on the sheets on the bunk above our bed. Oh and to top it off, there were no bath towels as they had 'ran out'! Needless to say we were up super early after our 1 night stay to get out of there. The poor girl on reception the night of our stay looked like she was ready to burst into tears after dealing with several irate holiday makers when I went to ask about the towel situation. Definitely won't be staying here again and will be telling others not to either.

The lady on the desk was amazing ... but .. our room didnt have a working toilet .. we went back and she changed us to another room , which was amazing .. the toilet and shower "cubicle" felt smaller than a cruise ship... the noise around the area and the general feel of an old prison just didnt do it...

The most disgusting accommodation we have ever seen. Mice in room, mold on all walls, duct tape as skirting, not able to secure. Taps hanging off. In fact we walked in, took photos and refused to go back in. State of building in general was disgusting. Currently attempting to get a full refund. Wouldn't send my worst enemy there.

If i could give zero for this property then i would! I never leave reviews but please don’t stay here! It’s not clean, room was not made up and the people staying next to us screamed all night. We left at 2am as we just didn’t feel safe to stay! DO NOT STAY HERE
