Mercure has disappointed me, not what I expected.

The room is very old and not maintained, not clean. Cigarettes left on the balcony. A very poor experience I am having. And I trusted the brand Mercure and it has disappointed me very strongly. The room also smells bad.

Old rooms. Low maintenance

For a Mercury standard this hotel is very far away from it. Old bedrooms, a lot of maintenance to do. I am very disappointed. The fare isn’t cheap. I expected more. The only good thing is the price of the lunch and some meals form dinner. The location is good as well.

I always select this hotel as my first option in Fortaleza even for business or fun with my family. This time I had a terrible experience with noise. The building is under maintenance and its it´s impossible to stay at room. The noise flows everywhere even on Saturday. This information should be available in Accor website during hotel reservation. My flight arrived at 2AM in Fortaleza ariport and we have tried to sleep but It was impossible due the continuous noise.

A walking distance from Miereles beach, in a posh area full of bar, restaurant, shops & shopping centre it is also just next door to travel tourism agency, two exchange services, banks and a car rental agency (Localiza). Situation is simply perfect. Try the italian restaurant in the same block, 50 meters on your right when exiting the hotel: Pizza Vignoli. The service itself at the hotel was a little bit below expectation - could be because of Covid (?) - swimming was pool closed without any clear explanation - maintenance (?)

The hotel location is awesome. Very close to main attractions and just 50 meters from beach. The hotel crew members are very polite and helpful, I would like to welcome Erika and Katina for being so kindly with me and my team.
