Hotel is very close to the cathedral, center, and the train station

This hotel is easy to reach from the train station and close to the cathedral and the center. The surroundings reflect Northern France's past as a working class region but this is interesting as well. Staff is very friendly, rooms are clean. Area is safe.

A good place to stay in Amiens

This hotel was great! Far, far better than its two-star rating would suggest. It was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was within 10 minutes of the main station in Amiens and another 10 - 15 minutes to the restaurants alongside the main canal. It was very quiet at night. There was only one possible downside. There are some major buildings being constructed nearby and work starts soon after 7.00am. I visited in mid-May 2023 and I would imagine building work will continue for at least a year, I didn’t find it a problem but I had to get up about 7.00am. There was quite a lot of machinery noise and vehicle reversing. It might be best to ask for a room on the side furtherest away from the building works.

A great place to stay - but our twin room was cramped.

We stayed for two nights to allow sight-seeing. The air-conditioning was welcome during the hot weather; all the facilities were fine, and the staff lovely. We had a twin room, and getting between the foot of the bed was, for one of us, extremely difficult.

This hotel is not as close to the city center as suggested. A firm 20 minutes walk is needed. The hotel does not have parking spaces and refers to public parking, that is located at the railway station. If you have big suitcases this parking is too far away. The rooms are tiny, with the bed against the wall so you can only get out on one side. Positive is that the room has air conditioning. The breakfast is cheap but too simple. No meat, cheese, or eggs. Coffee is bad. Although the hotel, is not expensive, I cannot recommend it.

Dear Rob M, I'm sorry that you only liked the air conditioning. Our hotel is ideally located for all the tourist attractions of Amiens. I admit that carrying suitcases is not easy from the underground car park. Do not hesitate to entrust them to us before going to park; it will be with great pleasure. Our breakfast includes the essentials of a continental breakfast. We have cheese (St Morêt, Tomme). If you want to have eggs for breakfast, you will have to go to a higher category hotel; this is not part of our service. Hope you still slept well. Regards

We stayed at Ibis Centre de Gare with my family and we loved our stay. It is affordable, clean, neat, near the train station and the city center where you can find several places to eat from the simplest to the more sophisticated. It is also only 9 minutes away from the Cathedral of Notre-Dame. The breakfast crew is quite friendly and professional. In particular, the young man, Emmanuel who works in the breakfast area and in the reception -- he speaks English quite well and was very helpful. In addition, Lucile was also very helpful, professional and friendly. We recommend it. Unfortunately it doesn't have a parking lot, but we found a place to park on the side walk of the hotel for free.
