Very good crew. They helped me to all my requests. Excellent housekeeping by Duean the supervisor. And Harun the manager of the hotel. Good location between Kata and Karon. I recommend on the frozen Gin & Tonic cocktail in the pool. Last thing, very rich gym!

I am writing this while enjoying a wonderful stay at this hotel - our first trip to Thailand- extremely relaxed, laid back & the only place I would stay in this area! The housekeeping team do a phenomenal job - room is spotless - cleaned by ladies such as Duean & Opla - nothing is too much for them! The Pearl Spa Thai massage was amazing- worth experiencing! Great pool area with plenty of umbrellas for shades! Breakfast is amazing- plenty of choices! The Chard restaurant is worth a visit - just for the in water experience. The team at reception, concierge desk & throughout the property that we have encountered has been top notch! Highly recommend this hotel to family, friends & anyone wanting a wonderful stay

This is such a great hotel! The staff are amazing they cannot do enough for you and just the most kind, friendly people ever. Such great hospitality. The rooms are huge, really nice and spacious for a family of 4 with double sinks and separate bath, shower, loo. Pool is fabulous and kids loved playing in it so much - plus the swim up bar is a bonus. Easy walk or cab into Kata Karon areas, beach at the bottom of a small hill is great and very accessible. It’s a fab place, and overall a top option for families.

Fantastic family holiday! Helpful staff, modern hotel, delicious food!

Family stay at Avista Grande Karon with 1 year old. We had a wonderful 10 night stay at Avista Grande Karon! The hotel was recommended to us by a friend, and we would certainly recommend it to other friends, and return for another stay in the future! Hotel: the hotel is stylish and modern, large but not overcrowded. The pool area is large with varied depths in the pool, a swim up bar and food and drink service to your pool lounge. The location itself was perfect for us, out of busy Patong. The hotel is a very short walk to the beach, with plenty of restaurants and grocery stores along the main road. The rooftop bar also has nice views out to the beach. The rooms are a good size and thoroughly cleaned daily, with as much bottled water provided as you need. Food: we enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast at the hotel and for us it was worth the additional cost. There was a large selection of foods, including an egg station manned by a chef and a fresh juice bar. We dined several times at the Portosino restaurant and the food was top notch. It was on the pricier side but we were happy to pay for the quality, and also enjoyed having room service delivered when we felt indulgent. The pool bar had a lot of delicious western options for daytime meals and snacks, as well as a large kids menu. It was also handy to be able to press a service button beside the pool lounge to order food and drinks. We dined one night at the Char’d restaurant and enjoyed the Friday night fire dancing show. The lighting and ambiance were good and the food was tasty. Kids: we stayed with our one year old child in a provided cot. The hotel is well set up for children, especially older children. There is a separate shallow kids pool in a quiet area away from the main pool, however at times there is no shade over the pool so we had to choose wisely when to go there. There is a large outdoor playground which also was lacking shade so unfortunately we did not use it much because the plastic of the slides/steps etc were too hot from the sun for our daughter to sit on. If a shade sail were put up here it would be a great outdoor play area! We went to the kids play zone daily and our daughter had a really great time. Children under 3 have to be supervised by a parent, but older kids can be dropped off to play with the supervision of one or two staff members. There was a great selection of toys and games for all age ranges, and the staff were fantastic at running craft activities and interacting with the children and parents. I would happily bring children to stay at this hotel again. Staff: all of the staff at the hotel were truly friendly, patient and did everything they could to help us have the best stay. A particular mention for Punce, Milk and Pond at reception, who when our flight home to Australia was cancelled were fantastic in helping us arrange another night stay in available rooms. They were able to sort out a late check out for us to allow our child to have her midday nap prior to departing for the airport, making what could have been a very stressful situation as easy as it could be for us. Overall a fantastic stay and we would gladly stay again in the future!

It is indeed a very good hotel. 5 out of 5 for their breakfast spread. Chef Jatin was awesome 5 out of 5 again for him for being the best out there. We really liked our stay here also the ambience of the restaurant itself it amazing. Would love to come again and again and again. Great food, gread restaurant. Great Breakfast, great staff. Thanks Chef Jatin for suggestions and making everything to the perfect.
