Change for the worse in Mama Shelter Belgrade restaurant

Not sure what is going on with restaurant but this is not Mama Shelter Belgrade that I know. Restaurant is on a fantastic location, very nice design with good food and decent service for high price. We went for breakfast, service was horrible, food was missing on the buffet, many items not available, waiters not cleaning tables, no interest in guest, talking between themselves. Coffee was excellent thou. Sorry, but you lost one guest.

Positives: - Spacious and clean rooms - Direct access to the shopping center - Centrally located hotel with good views - Breakfast option Negatives: - No coffee machine or kettle in the room - Terrible air quality (in Belgrade), so the windows should stay shut, otherwise you get the whole street in your room - The towels smells like cigarette smoke (terrible for non smokers)

Poor experience at the restaurant

Unfortunately, we had higher expectations from a 4.5 points restaurant. The waiters served us a stale prosecco, and after having complained, they returned the same glass. A tip for the management - laughing at the counter and rolling your eyes should not be acceptable. The food selection on the menu is rather limited and the food quality is quite average. The service is disappointing, staff appear to be rather passive and not interested in the guests, except maybe seeing them leave the place.

My stay at this hotel was like winning the jackpot of hospitality. The service was exceptional. They paid attention to details with such enthusiasm that I wouldn't surprised if they had a dedicated "pillow fluffer" department. This place is the kind of hotel where you secretly hope your alarm clock doesn't work, so you can stay a little longer. A five star show and I can't wait for an encore!

Very good position, in walking distance to most turistic attractions. The breakfast is very good, the bed is comfortable, the interior decoration funny and interesting. The personal is friendly, helpful and polite. I would have liked shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom.
