Modern, pleasant hotel

The positives: Modern, pleasant hotel. Decent room size, good shower. Good bed. Friendly, efficient staff. Comprehensive breakfast buffet. Centrally located, town center is at walking distance. The negatives: Breakfast area (= at the hotel entrance) was crowded, not easy to find a table to have breakfast. Also, there is just one set of curtains in the room, to block out any light for sleep. When the room curtains are open anybody in the residential apartments opposite has full sight into your room, so there is a tradeoff between having natural daylight (curtains open) or privacy (curtains closed). All in all, we had a good short stay and the price/quality ratio is good.

Now we had the chance again travelling, we wanted to visit part of our family in Carinthia (Austria). We planned to do the trip by car from Belgium to Austria in 2 days. We did look for an hotel somewhere in the middle of the trip. We did choose this hotel for the trip to Austria and also for the trip back to Belgium. And later this year we will book this hotel again when we make the trip to Austria again.

Really good location on the bike trail and with excellent secure indoor bike storage . Reception and all staff encountered was great- friendly , helpful and conversant in English . Room , as in all Ibis , was a bit small but well designed , bright and very clean . The bathroom was clean and very well designed for maximum convenience. Close to a number of restaurants even one of our favorite German /Austrian chains - L’Osteria with its enormous pizzas with a great price point . Bed was comfortable and room had A/C . Breakfast was good and plentiful .

This hotel meet all expectations you have when booking Ibis hotel for overnight stay. Nice furnished and properly cleaned rooms, helpful staff and proper breakfast. Due to Covid-19 measurements there can be some queue for self-service breakfast (but not more than 1 or 2 minutes). However, the breakfast is still plentiful. I have been in several Ibis hotel so far and this definitely fulfill all criteria for Ibis hotel. It is conviniently located near city centre and only about 10 minutes walk from main train station.

New hotel in Pforzheim from 2019 with parking and nice place to drink something. The ibis Styles Pforzheim offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi throughout the property. The rooms feature the hotel's own-brand beds, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, free WiFi. The bathroom has a shower and separate WC. Guests at ibis Styles Pforzheim can enjoy a buffet breakfast.
