More like a hostel than a hotel

I have stayed in many 4 star hotels and this certainly was not one. It is more like a hostel than a hotel. Staff with no customer service. Room was not as described, booked a twin but was given a tiny double. One small wardrobe with four coathangers for 2 persons staying 3 days, not even a shelf to put your clothes on. No chest of drawers. Coffee facilities had powdered milk sachets which were so ancient they didn't dissolve. Buffet breakfast was cold every morning and very poor quality. when Bain marie was empty and a request for it to be refilled we were told that that there was no more. Asked for a poached egg but was told no. We looked forward to a relaxing glass of wine before bed but the bar is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Very noisy area but there was no double glazing. It seemed as though the hotel is run more for the benefit of the staff than customers. The area is littered with homeless, drunks and beggars and feels very unsafe to walk through in the evening. I would never return to this hotel

Im a privilege member of the accor hotels chain and I go on business trips frequently and i usually only reserve at accor. During my last stay, my luggage was opened when I was out of the room, even though i locked it before I leave with a security code. On my return my luggage was open. I mentioned this to the reception and they told me they investigated it but they can’t know who entered the room when im out and they did not take any measures and did not took this event seriously. It will be my last time to visit this hotel.

Very good service. Good location. near the port. Very nice welcome at reception. We really liked it. The room was clean and comfortable. we could communicate with the employees in many languages, also in Russian. Necessary things were quickly brought to the room.

The stay was very good, especiall that the staff were very helpful. I would like to thanks Olivier and Adrien for the nice hospitality and support during the whole period of the stay. I hope to come again due to these nice guys.

Good stay, hospitality and excellent cooperation from the hotel employee Although the hotel is small, its location is excellent in the center of the beautiful city of Marseille, close to the metro, tram, bus station, and shopping places. Thank you
