Dirty, stained duvet

The staff were wonderful and I cannot fault them. The restaurant staff particularly were delightful. However the accommodation was disappointing and dated. We were particularly concerned by the bed and bedding. The pillows were foam and by far the most uncomfortable we have encountered and the duvet was brown and stained. It always revealed itself by the end of the night and clearly many, many people had had similar contact with it. Most unpleasant. A resort such as this, purporting to offer luxury, needs to hold itself to a higher standard. A shame when the staff work so hard.

This Hotel and my Room were Excellent! On Arrival I was greeted by the Front Desk Receptionist Gina who was kind and made sure I had a fantastic time throughout my stay even given me a ride on one of their carts q couple times so I didn't to carry my bags so far. The rest of the staff that I met was wonderful as well. The pool and my room was great as well. It had a balcony that I found myself falling asleep on at night. Overall this Hotel is way better than some of the reviews here make it out to be.

This is the must place to stay when in PD. Rooms are spacious and well equipped with the rooms that open to the pool being our fav. The Reception is an open space that takes in the warm climate and is the perfect welcome when you arrive. Service is impeccable and we look forward to returning soon.

We had the most memorable stay at Pullman Sea Temple. Special shout-out to Clement and Maj at the Aluco restaurant (where the buffet breakfast is). They went above and beyond in looking after us - from remembering little details like our order and our anniversary, checking on us multiple times if we need more coffee, and lovely chats that we thoroughly enjoy every morning. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The coffee and omelets (made to order) were amazing, we also love the chocolate croissants, coconut chia pudding, pastries, and fresh juice. The pool is just gorgeous and always clean, you feel like you are in another country. The pool is big with multiple little pools that were fun to explore. There were plenty of floaties available. Many pool seats, both sheltered and unsheltered. The pool is shallow enough for me to relax in (deeper in the middle). Dining at Aluco was amazing - we had the barramundi which was the best we have ever had. The lobby is breathtaking. Do yourself a favour and book in !

The Pullman in Port Douglas is absolutely first rate in every regard. EVERYONE treated us in a caring, compassionate and friendly way from the moment we arrived, after having issues with musty/mildew odors upon trying to check in at a nearby resort. They allowed us to check out the room before checking in. The front desk reception team of Tanya, Alejandra and Matthew were kind, efficient and caring. They are all exemplary people. Dining was a pleasure; the care, humor, conversation and joy we recieved from Clement was appreciated every morning. The food was excellent. We tried vegemite and decided that would be the first, last and only time. Perhaps with more time a taste could be acquired... The room, facilities and grounds were luxurious, clean, well decorated, large and convenient. After spending 1000+ nights in Marriotts: Pullman and ALL-Accor have opened my mind to new possibilities. Thanks to all of our new friends at Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple and Resort & Spa. You helped make our 55th Anniversary Adventure trip quite memorable.
