Please improve communication between cleaning service and counter

Everything was fine until the room checkout, our kids are having fun at infinity pool before the room checkout time and the cleanroom service came in took our kid’s clothes which place on the bed. The process to get back those clothes took around an hour and our kids have to stay naked.

Disgusting behaviour by Miss Karthiga - Worst person in hospitality business

review for ibis hotel Kuala Lumpur city center for the manager Miss Karthiga. Firstly, at 3.47 am I called the hotel to check if they’ll allow a check in at 4am and check out at 12pm and the attendant said yes and quoted 100 MYR. So, I booked a cab to the hotel. Upon reaching they denied the check -in saying it’s 350 MYR. I showed the call log to which they said they assumed some day use check-in. Mind you I had confirmed the check in and check out time on the call. Even the payment details. I am a solo female traveller and I mentioned that as well. They said please wait till 10am for that. Lol. The audacity. When I said I want to speak to the manager, she didn’t come out initially and then later she comes out and shows bad attitude. Not something toh expect from a person in hospitality business. It’s 4.35 am and I kept saying I am a solo female traveller, I can’t go anywhere at this hour. She is like at 100MYR I bet you can’t get a room anywhere. Her name is Miss Karthiga and I want everyone to know that because when I told her I’ll move on from here but I need the names to leave a review, she just gave the name of the person who spoke with me on call. She said it’s his human error and my name shouldn’t be given. Not something one expects from a manager. Ibis please take some necessary steps. I am going to let everyone I know of that to never step in this ibis. It’s 5am and now I am moving to another destination and i could see the staff laughing. Mind you no one apologised. Human error they quote.

1) Wrong info on Accor website "nothing to pay at the hotel". I paid in cash, no receipt for it. Except one, other receptionists are not professional. 2) Catastrophic laundry service. Had to phone to get a bag. Laundry not returned on the same day, had to phone the next morning and waste one hour to get it back. Last but not least, mistake in laundry bill. 3) No soap the second day, had to wash hands in shower. 4) Sound from upstairs and beside through the walls. Breakfast was ok, room was clean. Definitively not 4 stars value.

Enjoyed a pleasant 9-night stay in Room 2925, unfortunately no views of Petronas Towers but that didn't detract from the amenity and comfort of the accommodation. Friendly welcome and very efficient check-in process. All relevant information in respect of hotel features, Accor benefits, etc. explained. Comfortable bed, great shower pressure, clean room and all necessary amenities. Great location within walking distance of some attractions and dining options and a cheap taxi ride to many others. Staff helpful, efficient and friendly at all levels of services throughout our stay. Great value stay and would definitely repeat if returning to KL.
