Great location for Orly 4 and good value for day use room

We had a 12-hour layover at Orly airport, with jetlag, so I booked a room on one of the 'day use' hotel websites. Great location just a few minutes' walk from Orly 4. There was a brief moment of confusion at check-in, when the member of staff on duty called over the manager who explained that the hotel was full so they couldn't accommodate us but this was due to a misunderstanding and thankfully was swiftly resolved. We really liked the contemporary style of the lobby and were pleasantly surprised by the room, which was just a standard double. I went into town using the Orlybus from outside the airport to Denfert-Rochereau (super-convenient for my prebooked ticket to the Catacombs) and left husband and three teenagers to shower and sleep. They reported that the bed and sofa were both comfortable! We didn't use the restaurant or fitness room, but would stay here again if we need a hotel close to Orly so may get the opportunity in future.

Nice decor , room ok for hotel airport, could be conditioner & shower cap cause it's not Ibis. But the worst is front desk staff at night.. specially french Sr. who is rude, poloteness, mannerless with guest, cynical and EXTREMELY affected by a simple question which put his finger in my face cause I JUST ASK about late checkout. Otherwise a guy who speaks portuguese is super gentle and kind. Maybe novotel needs to review about human resources.

Came to the Novotel to visit psg stadium, staff was amazingly helpful and very friendly, always smiling, had a cute little kids corner with toys, books and a tv with a games console, which my son enjoyed. cute modern sitting area and the toilets, hallways and rooms were amazing clean , absolutely loved our stay and will definitely tell people about this hotel, will also be coming back

Overrated hotel, not Novotel quality

I am travelling a lot and use 3-4 stars (sometimes 5, sometimes 2). This is a rather new Novotel. Rooms are OK, although not enough power plugs. But staff is not well trained. At arrival, the receptionist was multi-tasking and not paying attention to me. Multi-tasking is OK is some cultures, but not in mine. It felt is very unprofessional. Furthermore she forgot the free drink ticket for regular customers. Then the restaurant was full, and I had to wait. OK, can happen. But tables were low, food was so-so (fries were cold). Staff is friendly, but not professional (for a Novotel). Breakfast: scrambled eggs were cold. Staff was not cleaning the tables, and did not schedule and plan their activities in a professional way. Towards management: I understand the lack of available personnel, but you shall train them. Especially when charging the full Novotel 4 star rate.

Our hotel room was super clean and modern. If I didn’t know better I’d have guessed that we were the first ones in the room. Very modern too. Staff was very friendly, check in efficient, and helpful with airport directions. All hotels should be this good.
