I’ve stayed at the Ibis Pocos de Caldas numerous times. Staff are good, breakfast adequate, location good and rooms adequate. The 4 star rating reflects expectations. Ibis is a good choice in Pocos where there are relatively few “modern” hotel alternatives and a lot of “old classic hotels” with an entirely different feel

Improvements underway at the Ibis Pocos de Caldas but those works will be finished soon and did not hamper or disturb the stay of our small group. The Ibis Pocos de Caldas is well located, has good staff and adequate rooms befitting the budget nature of the hotel. Useful interesting touch an ironing board and irons on the landing. Not that I wanted to do any ironing but I needed to and that useful accessory was handy. The Ibis Pocos de Caldas is well located right in the middle of town but it’s not noisy and there’s a good supermarket right next door. The Ibis Pocos de Caldas is a good choice for your stay in the area

I had no surprises staying there, what is good. However, I didn't like the renovation of the lobby. The breakfast has been served in a provisory area. The tables are too close to each other, a very tight place. The food and beverage are next to the renovation area, without any kind of protection against dust or painting smell or whatever. The period of the service was shortened as well, closing an hour earlier than usual. In spite of all these troubles, the breakfast was charged full price. I had to make a last minute reservation at Ibis due to problems in my original reservation in another hotel. Of course, they charged me the flat price, no discounts. The problem is that they didn't easy on the payment at all, as is usual in Brazil. Normally, I can divide the total cost in 6 to 10 interest-free instalments using the credit card. This time, I had to pay it full in one down payment. I have an Accor's membership but it didn't make any difference. I was treated as any common guest.

Blues was in the air of Poços! The better place to listen the american original blues that we know. Very Good! And the IBIS localization is very good, too. Near the Festival! We like very much and recommend it for all. Thanks!
