Standard hotel of the chain. Small rooms but clean and tidy. It is located somewhat far from the city center, it is not very convenient without a car, but there is a tram and bus stop nearby. There is a nice cafe nearby. A seminar for doctors was held here. Decent coffee keychains, good Stuttgart room.

Friendly, helpful staff. good WiFi connection. Clean room. Several English channels on the tv. BUT - no tea/coffee-making facilities in room, not even a water cooler in the corridor. Fridge and safe in room, but no drawers for storage - only open shelves. And no toiletries in bathroom, except a soap dispenser at sink and in shower. Other toiletries had to be bought at reception. Breakfast was adequate for the level of the hotel.

There were particular problems re making the booking. I got through to the on-line site and having waited for a very long time decided to phone the hotel. I spoke to the perso who answere said I had a problem and also said that I did not expect to pay the higher price for having to phone. The phone was put down on me. I tried 7/,8 times more to phone but although it rang no-one answered. I tried again to book on-line and was now informed the hotel was fully booked.Later I tried on=line again and managed to get a booking.

Went with my wife And was pretty happy with this hotel choice , Positive : - pet friendly !! - walking distance to mega city mall and pregorodni Park - nice and helpful staff - cool bar and restaurant in the hotel . - very nice view from our room . Negative : - not very close to the center

IBIS Samara - Better than IBIS

I stayed one night in September and the place surprised me with great service, super clean facilities and a great breakfast. The normal "no thrills" experience I had in some other IBIS hotels was replaced by a nice atmosphere, helpful staff and a super clean, although IBIS sized room. It had a fridge which I personally think is important. I am a very particular person who always check room cleanliness and here I absolutely found nothing to complain about. The room was spotless. The view from the window towards the Volga river is nothing short of fantastic. Breakfast was meeting my expectation and based on what I paid for the room, everything has fantastic value. If there is any down side it might be the location that is not down town but I knew that when I booked so I can not complain about that. I deliberately booked the hotel as it is closer to the airport and it saved me 20 minutes in the morning going to the airport so the location was a plus. I will definitely come back to this hotel if I come back to Samara.
