This hotel is at a great location of Porto Alegre in the upscale Moinhos de Vento neighborhood, with restaurants and a shopping mall nearby. There is a nice park (Parcão) that is just walking distance. The street is quiet, room is comfortable and the service is good, with 24/7 front-desk. The hotel provides a good breakfast buffet, but it has to be paid separately, since it is not included in the room fee.

The tourist information centre told us to go at 2pm for a bus tour. When we arrived the young girl said there is a minimum of 4 people required to take the tour. After waiting a while, no one else came, so we suggested buying 4 tickets just for 2 people & we are so very glad we did. Going up to some stunning viewing points in a mini bus made our visit to Porta Santo. Without this trip we were a little disappointed just to walk along the road. Absolutely recommend using this company & for €8 each well worth it (even if we did pay double ha)

I had an excellent experience at this accommodation. Hotel of good quality, very sanitized and with all special care on behalf of Covid-19. People who attended me were excellent and very attentive and concerned about my stay. I recommend this hotel for the quality, service and location.

Moinhos de Vento is a enjoyable neighbourhood in Porto Alegre. There is a lot of fancy places around like bars, restaurants, shops, hotels and green areas. The hotel is OK, with good service and breakfast.
