Chosen for its central location and secure parking. It was easy to get to and the undergoround parking was excellent. The hotel is linked to the Mecure and there is clearly some major refurbishment going on, but the Ibis part was quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a little less sharp that I have expected from Ibis, especially the carpet but it was clean and functional with a view of the river. We hoped to wander up to the cathedral to find a restaurant for diner but the weather was against us and we settled for the elegant St Marc Square, 5 mins walk from the hotel, which offered a choice of eateries and bars. Breakfast was fresh and offered a good buffet choice. It was our first visit as a stop off from the ferry port at Dieppe on our way south and we will definitely be back again.

Excellent! Make sure you stay here.

Loved this hotel! We were staying for one night on our way back to UK after a month travelling around France and Spain. This was one of the best Ibis hotels we stayed in. We parked in the car park. We have a Citroen Berlingo Flair which is like a van and had no issues. Level -3 does have bigger spaces. Maurius on check in was fabulous. We felt very welcome. He is very obviously a people person and had a lovely sense of humour. He helped us out with an extra pillow and was very approachable. Room was clean and very spacious. Shower excellent. Location great. Guy on check out also great, didn't get his name. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Rouen. Thank you. It's clear the staff here work incredibly hard.

Our family enjoyed the stay at Ibis very much. The hotel feels cozy and despite the to be expected small and functional rooms, we loved the welcoming atmosphere at the hotel and the wonderful staff for which I give 5 stars. Especially Yassine as he was so helpful with any request we had. The breakfast was large and diverse, the juices were great. The staff was speedy and attentive. We loved the to go fruit stand. The city is only a 10-15 min walk away. Thank you for a great stay.

Wonderful welcome from Audrey when we arrived, an English speaking lovely person who took care of us for our original 3 night stay extended to 4. The staff in the hotel are all excellent. The hotel itself is clean and well appointed. Our room was perfectly adequate for our stay with very comfortable twin beds and a good shower and amenities. Wifi was excellent throughout. Breakfast was plentiful and staff always asked us if we were finished before shutting down. Supplies were topped up frequently even when it was near closing time. We had dinner in the Mercure next door 3 nights out of the 4 and it was generally good. The underground car park is a nightmare to navigate as it's very tight. However, with care it does the job and Audrey advised that level 3 is best for larger vehicles. She was correct. Cathedral is about 15 minutes easy walk from the hotel and you are on the bank of the River Seine if you cross the street. We can recommend this hotel and would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Overnight stop in Rouen on our way to Brittany. Hotel rooms were basic and functional but based on the price was reasonable. They had an EV charger on site that was free to use with a cable deposit. Location was perfect for wondering into Rouen and staff were helpful giving us guides to the city etc.
