Great location - opposite the Flixbus coach stand (3 minute walk). The hotel was efficient, friendly, clean and well designed. Vending machines were also available for snacks and drinks. Water was €1.00 which is very reasonable for a hotel. The room was accurate and the bed comfortable. Everything needed for a short trip was suppplied. Would recommend.

OK - As an overnight rest stop

The Ibis Budget Bollene is good as an overnight rest stop. It's a minute from the main highway (A7) and there are a choice of a few nearby restaurants. It is a little tricky to get into though. There are two possible approaches (assuming that you just left the A7). One is to go all the way round the roundabout following the toll booths, as if you were going to go back onto the A7, then take a small slip road to the right, just before McDonalds. But, be careful because if you miss it, you're heading to the A7 toll booths with no chance of turning around. The safer approach is to turn left at the roundabout after the toll booths (fourth exit), continue up Avenue Jean Moulin for about 400m. Then, go all the way round the roundabout and head back the way you just came staying in the right hand lane. Take the slip road to the right before McDonalds. The IBIS Bollene is 100m down on the right. Unfortunately it's another one of those Hotels that has no way to get into the parking lot unless you've aready checked in and been issued with an access code. MAJOR PITA. I can't understand the logic to this. But, wait a while and somebody will probably go in or out, and you can follow them. Be careful. Although the first room that I was given was a no smoking room, somebody clearly had smoked in it and it smelt bad. Thankfully, THE AUTOMATED CHECK IN WAS BROKEN and there was a real person in the hotel that could allocate me a different room. If the hotel had been unattended, I would have been S.O.L. and not happy. The alternative room that I was allocated was clean, fresh and I was grateful to discover had working A/C. The rooms are basic, but more than adequate. The bed was comfortable and everything was more than acceptable.

As one approaches the mature years it would be nice to be able to have available extra pillows if required. Location near Motorway is good but also near the N7. It was also appreciated that dogs were accepted.

Ideal location for trip to northern Spain being just off the autoroute, friendly staff with easy check in,fast food option next door for Grandkids and a great breakfast, 3rd visit and will return next year

Not much to see in Bollene but when stopover is needed, this Ibis is conveniently situated next to the motorway. Nice, friendly service but average rooms and breakfast. Only reason to use this hotel is location and ease of booking. Shower room is very small and towels are small but you can ask for more.
