BIZARRE NUIT A IBIS BUDGET

Trés moyen ; Réveillé en pleine nuit le é_ juillet 2023 a 0H50 per l'alarme incendie , les clients en tenue de nuit dans le s couloirs sans la moindre explication . Fausse alerte d’après le vigile. Pas un mot d'excuse le matin au petit déjeuner . A NE PAS RENOUVELLER

Un hôtel à rénover d'urgence !

Cet hôtel, situé aux confins de Thiers, dans une zone commerciale très éloignée du centre ville, nécessite une sérieuse rénovation, l'ensemble étant vieillot et la plupart des revêtements usés. La petite chambre, à la literie ferme et confortable, dispose d'une salle de bain exiguë et peu fonctionnelle: après avoir pris une douche il y a de l'eau partout ... Si la salle du petit déjeuner possède une taille et une disposition agréables, par contre les produits servis sont restreints: pas de salade de fruit, des sachets de thés donnés avec parcimonie, absence de pain brioché ... Le personnel est souriant, prêt à rendre service, mais les parois de protection en plexiglas de l'accueil jette un froid à l'arrivée, donnant la désagréable impression d'arriver à un vieux et rebutant guichet administratif! La pandémie de COVID est pourtant terminée ! Ma note: 3/5.

There was no control for the air conditioning unit. The coffee and drinks machine in the entrace-way was out of order. There was no towel,mat for the floor in the shower. The fan in the bathroom did not work The atmosphere was musty and smoky, there was an ashtray on the table. The room was shabby and grubby. The linen was rough and the pillow lumpy and need replacing Breakfast was good. I have stayed with Accor many times - they are my choice hotel for France, but will avoid at Budgets in future

We stayed in this „hotel“ for 3 nights. The service was very impolite, they didn‘t speak any English at the reception. The rooms were not really clean, especially the bathroom. The so called „breakfast“ was absolutely insufficient and this does not deserve the word breakfast. All in all, this was one of the worst hotels I have ever been to!

We have stayed in many Ibis hotels across france and were shocked at the low standard in this one. My fault maybe, for asking for a ground floor room as the lift wasnt working. Basic is an understatement. Breakfast was served without plates, a buffet with very little choice, The bar was closed and that for nearly 80 euro a night. The manager did bring my husband a beer to our room as compensation for no bar, which was a nice gesture.
