Raffles Island snorkeling is very good, seeing many small sharks and devil fish. The infrastructure construction of the entire island is very good, with various entertainment facilities and activities available.Housekeeper Koky is really professional. My wife was scratched by coral while snorkeling, and she called a doctor for treatment. Overall, I am very satisfied with the itinerary arrangements for the past few days. Thank you very much to Koky for providing us with high-quality butler service, which is very thoughtful and professional.I met the manager Snow from the Chinese management team, who answered our questions and provided us with many effective suggestions.I also really like Liz from Yuzu Restaurant, and we talked about a lot of interesting things about Raffles. Every time we meet, we warmly greet each other.

The service on Raffles Island is good, and they always greet each other proactively and politely.Butler Koky is really considerate. She prepares surprises, takes us snorkeling, and teaches us some ocean knowledge. When I get sunburned, she even sends me lotions. The daily travel arrangements are very fun, and on the last day, she helped me upgrade my seaplane. I really, really like her, she's very professional and sweet! I met the only Chinese management manager on the island, Snow, who is very polite and professional. She is a very lovely girl. Restaurant Yuzu met Liz from Xiaohongshu, who was very enthusiastic and liked to chat. She had a good understanding of her regular restaurant dishes and introduced them well, which were very suitable for Chinese cuisine. She would also inform her in advance if there were any additional expenses. She is a very practical girl.

If you are considering visiting the Maldives and had to pick just one resort make sure that resort is Raffles Maldives Meradhoo. This resort is ultra luxury paired with a team that can deliver your once in a lifetime unrivalled service. It is truly an amazing experience and a very special resort. We have been fortunate enough to travel to the Maldives on many occasions over the years (10+ times) visiting some of the best resorts Maldives has to offer such as Conrad Maldives and Huvafen Fushi just to name a couple and Raffles Maldives is simply another level. We stayed at the resort this time for 15 nights over March/ April 2024 with my wife and our 3 children aged 14,11 & 4 and to be honest we could have stayed another 15 as we had such such an memorable time. This resort is ultra special and rare. After just a few days at the resort the kids were pleading with us & even shed some tears to extend our trip and we actually seriously considered it however we could not facilitate it due to other commitments in our schedule back home. The accommodation is private and stunning in both the Beach Villas and Overwater Villas each with its own private pool with spacious rooms and ultra luxurious quality. Headed by a seasoned General Manager Dennis De Groot who has been with the Raffles brand for an extensive period the Raffles Maldives resort is extremely well lead. We felt extremely welcomed by Dennis and I admired the way he rapports with his staff and guests of diverse multicultural backgrounds. The food and beverage at the resort is simply amazing and a huge shout out to the F&B Manager (master) Shane who went out of his way to ensure that our entire family was spoilt and treated so so well. Your attention to detail and love for your job is simply incredible and comes from the heart. One of the best F&B operators in hospitality. You personally made sure our holiday was special. Thank you to our Butler Koky who took care of our every request from booking our massages, , running special baths, dinners and the countless rides in the buggy chaperoning my 4 year old boy Levi (King of Meradhoo) around the island. You were outstanding. Special mention to the bar team whom we kept extremely busy Harsch, Mudura, Kulpa & Kat. Harsch you are mixologist specialist who crafted us some fine customised cocktails some of which we will try to replicate and adopt at home. Thank you to F&B Director Hamza, F&B staff: Korale, JJ, Azeen, Shaffah, Manku, Zajee, Abdu, Nai & to all of the chefs (culinary artists) the food you prepared was simply amazing. Special shout out to chefs Janaka and Ruwan for our customised Sri Lankan feast you both prepared. It is the attention to detail, sincerity, empathy, caring nature which defines the special feel you get at this resort. The staff care and they deliver you the best hospitality Maldives has to offer. It is in fact the best hospitality we have received in our lives. Even our cleaner Shinaz went out of his way when he went on leave for a couple of days to buy my son a toy car and me some traditional Maldivian sweets Addu Bendi. It’s moments like these that you go wow! He didn’t have to do this, we didn’t ask him to do this but he did and it’s moments like that you go wow! I’m sure to have missed some names and I apologise so to the entire team at Raffles Maldives a huge thank you for making our holiday so incredible and we look forward to visiting you again next year for the 3rd time. Such was the experience we collectively decided as a family not to travel locally in Australia so that we can travel more frequently back to Raffles Maldives. To the person reading reviews wanting to make a concerted decision on what resort to stay at when visiting the Maldives I hope this helps & yes, You’re welcome! Fantastic location, situated amongst some of the best reefs. Immaculate service and attention to detail from all the staff, even going above and beyond with two medical incidents that were not charged for and in fact more than compensated for in their consideration for the rest of our stay. Quality of food was amazing. This is literally unparalleled.

Raffles Maldives is an absolutely magical place. We were celebration our first wedding anniversary and I don't think we could have picked a better place. The hotel its self is stunning. we were lucky to experience both the over water villa along with the beach villa however for me the overwater trumps the other but both rooms are well done and so spacious and gorgeous, I wish I could have taken home the bed! All the staff were friendly and we also really enjoyed our cooking class with Chef Happy and our cocktail lesson with Harsh! Our butler Nattu was also kind and helped us with personal requests as well as attending to other guests. I would 100 % recommend the hotel to others and even come back my self. The food was also fantastic. The only complaint that I have and perhaps what lowered my satisfaction score slightly is that on the night before we were to leave my husband got bitten by a snake that was found in our beach villa. Thankfully the snake was not venomous but it took us a good 5-10min to even get hold of someone at the hotel to come and remove it which was not great, secondly it was quite a traumatic experience to go through yet the only compensation was an apology but nothing else which I thought was quite unexpected especially from a brand like 'Raffles'. On top of that the apology only came from our butler and not even the hotel manager, I think you could have done better than this. Other than that as I mentioned we have only great memories.
