Great Stay

I didn’t expect to like this hotel as much as I did! The staff was great! I was there for two weeks and everyone was so nice and helpful, from housekeeping to the front desk. The room was very comfortable, beds and pillows were cozy, and the room was cleaned every day. There were plenty of shelves to arrange my essentials, the windows opened though you would likely need earplugs at night due to street traffic. We had a few unseasonal hot days and the air conditioning actually operated and cooled nicely, which was appreciated as I have found that air conditioning is often not turned on at hotels until summer. Lots of choices at breakfast, if you choose to include it. I honestly can’t think of anything bad to say about the hotel except that the location is a bit outside of center so it takes about 30-35 minutes walking to get to any sites. That said, it is an easy walk to public transportation. I would definitely stay again if I couldn’t find something closer to city center for the same price. Again, great staff!!!

A little confusion at arrival. We couldn't get our rooms at 15 o'clock. We had to wait for some time but were offered something to drink.

+ The reception staff are very pleasant, kind, and always helped with requests. + Breakfast is delicious, balanced, there are juices, delicious coffee. + It is relatively convenient to get to the hotel from the railway station, as well as an acceptable distance from the center (15-20 min walk to the beginning of the center) + Price - The area is not very pleasant, there are few restaurants/bars close to train station or to center, but around hotel it is full of shops and clubs for +18. I usually stay in the lower part of Vienna, where it is much more civilized. In addition, it seems that there is a hospital nearby, because the ambulance sirens do not stop and there is general noise from the road, it is impossible to open the window. - Stuffy/hot in the room. In winter, the central air conditioning is switched to heating mode only, the window cannot be opened due to road noise, but we never closed it because it could suffocate. - The room was dusty. My husband is allergic to dust. At first glance, the room was clean, but my husband was still sneezing and coughing. On the last day, he accidentally noticed that there was a large layer of dust under the bed and closet. (photo). We were cleaned a couple of times, the shower ran out of soap, but they didn’t change it for us, we asked the reception to bring soap, but it never reached us. I had to take soap from the sink into a cup and transfer it to the shower. =) In general, we knew that the Ibis chain was an economical option, but we didn’t know how much. For students it will be fine for a couple of nights, but no more.
