Great rooms but some service isssues

I have stayed at the hotel many times before - but after several requests to clean my room only a basic clean was done with most amenities not restocked

The toilet and shower are completely open to the bed.

This needs to be made EXPLICITLY clear when booking. This is just super weird. I spoke to two different front desk agents who pretended like they didn’t know what I was talking about… “the bathroom problem? What bathroom problem?” Additionally, changing to a room with *gasp* a door between the toilet and the bed would cost and upcharge. If you’re traveling with friends this is very uncomfortable. I won’t be staying at another SO hotel because of this.

Loved the service and our room was beautiful and we absolutely loved our upgrade thank you. Your staff are so friendly and helpful. Noticed the hotel doesn’t have its signature smell anymore? Only disappointment was the club lounge. Used to be high end food and wine. Now its pastry’s you serve at the breakfast buffet and no spirits? Your Club room was one of the main reasons we booked with you .
