Staff service was impeccable, but building had some electrical issues

Extremely friendly and efficient staff, but one night my room went blackout with no electricity for 10 minutes and TV turned on and off several times by itself, which was scary and inconvenient.

I spent only two days at Novotel Batel but they were indeed fabulous. Considering it was my first visit ever to Curitiba, staying at the Novotel Batel made my experience even better, thanks a lot for the hotel staff for the warm hospitality and attention.

Well located but no amenities

I spent 20+days from my last trip The hotel is quite closed to my company and also several restaurants nearby. However I was surprised that the hotel does not provide amenities e.g. facial tissues, Stream iron, kettle, etc. I'm not sure if there is any reason behind but I think it was not so convenience. I used laundry service several times and 90% I needed to call to get my cloths returned. About cleaning, my hand towel seems to be changed once in 3-4 days even I put it on the floor. The janitor seems to bring the same one back. I knew it because it was a bit dirty on the corner. About safety, 1-2 times that I came back to my room and found out that janitor or sometimes did not close my room's door firmly so I could open the door without using my keycard. I did not feel safe at all. I wish that the hotel could fix the door or emphasize janitor to ensure that the door was closed right after leaving the room
