Emergency Response lacking

During my stay, there was a fire alarm activation approximately 10pm. Fire alarm was activated to have everyone on standby. Believe it was after 10 mins, there is an update from the commander that just mentioned to continue standby while they investigate. Fire fighters were on scene. believe its another 10 mins later, the fire alarm went off without any announcement to stand down or acknowledging a false alarm. It felt uneasy and contacted reception and confirming that its all good to proceed to bed. The emergency response team needs to better be trained. In the morning itself, I believe some auditors were on site and I can clearly heard that she asked "where is your emergency exit?" it wasn't cleared indicated anywhere in your hotel lobby.

Room had chemically and wet bathroom odur, plus significant noise from lift and air vents
