No air conditioning or wifi in my room, but hotel location is very good

On arrival into my room it was very hot and I couldn’t get the air conditioning to work. I rang reception and was told it wasn’t the season for it and they suggested I open my window. My room was above a busy road with a tram line and although I was on the 13th floor a lot of road noise, especially speeding motorbikes and the clatter of the trams was loud. Sleeping with the window open was not an option! The Wi-Fi also didn’t work in my room so I had to sit either in the lobby or where the lifts were on my floor to get it. I was given a passcode for another network but it still didn’t work in my room even though I was told it would. All very frustrating. The hotel was situated an easy 15 minute walk through a pedestrian shopping precinct/street to the main city square. It is also across the road from a shopping centre with a supermarket in the basement. The hotel was clean and tidy and I liked the idea if you didn’t get your room serviced you were entitled to a free drinks voucher. The room was a good size.

Goddag location and good breakfast. It is not possible to try to dit down and work at the hotelbar or restaurant due to very loud musoc and DJ. So if you there for business you should consider to work in your roomnor chose another hotel. The rooms were extremely warm so I would not stay there during summer month

I have stayed at the Novotel Poznan three times in the past year. The rooms are always clean and have the basic amenities for quick stay in Poznan. I highly recommend this hotel. I am curious to check out the privilege rooms. The only drawback to this hotel is that there is no Wellness Area to unwind in after a long day out and about. I definitely recommend this hotel.

I have been using Novotel for many years in many different locations but Novotel Poznań Centrum, unfortunately, has poor service. I have been put in a room where the fridge was very small but I had some kids food and when I requested to swap the room the receptionist had million excuses proving me that they didn’t have bigger fridges but a week before I stayed in the room with the bigger fridge and of course there was no available rooms. Same with the mattress. When I told that we had only one thin mattress I was told that every room had the same but a weeks ago I was in the room with nice mattress or even two nice mattresses. Winestone restaurant also needs improvement in service as it took me waiting approx 10-15 mins but nobody came to take the order until I went to the counter and asked waiter to come to my table. FYI there were only two tables occupied and one man at the bar. Waiters few times passed by me without even asking if family of four want to make an order. A bit disappointed but hopefully my review will help improve things. Cheers.
