Booked to stay here for 4 nights for an event in France. We saw images online which seemed to be good and would be suited for us on the few nights we were staying. We pulled up to the hotel and noticed it looked run down on the outside with peeling wall paint and the general feel. We checked in and was told there’s no breakfast options which was a let down. Shown to the room passing stored items which was due to a possible renovation in upper floors. We got into our room and noticed it was not as advertised and not clean as you’d expect even a vet in the ceiling had tape blocking it up. The shared toilet and shower areas should be spotless with many people using them but the toilet was far from nice and I was scared to even sit down on it. It was pretty run down so I searched for a good hour locating a room in Laval about an hour away as we was not comfortable staying. It’s a shame as it used to be a decent place to stay with good features but now it seemed more like people were actually living in the rooms not being guests.

Helpful receptionist, comfy bed and quiet location. The hotel is in need of a bit of a facelift but our room was just what we needed as we arrived in the evening and left fairly early in the morning.

The room was infested with bedbugs. I got bitten all over. A horrible experience. I complained at customer service but one week later I am still waiting for a reply.

For one night is good to stay here. More than one night it may be a little stressing. The hotel is about 40 minutes walk from the castle and the city centre. We book online, but when we arrive at the hotel, the receptionist didn't found our reservation and he had to call the Accor Booking managing centre to get the confirmation. The room was ok, but the public spaces (WC, showers) were quite dirty. During the night it was quite noise. Breakfast was nice and buffet.
