On check in Daniel asked if I would like to purchase breakfast, I advised as it was a weekend and with my Diamond status breakfast should be included. He dismissed this and said he didn't think this was correct he went behind the reception counter to check and after a long discussion came back and said it was included but he would need to advise the restaurant so we could attend the following day. Welcome drink voucher wasn't provided until requested and there was no welcome gift in the room. Upon attending breakfast the following morning I was not listed on the restaurants listing for breakfast. After asking the waiter to double check after some time he returned to advise we could proceed to sit down and enjoy a complimentary breakfast. Things were clunky and not at the level I have experienced elsewhere, there needs to be some work done in this area so guests with a certain Accor status don't need to negotiate with staff regarding these items. No room upgrade was provided. Otherwise room and stay where nice.

Diamond members are of course entitled to a free room upgrade, where available. You probably noticed that we were extremely busy at the weekend and that wasn't possible, as other guests had paid for executive rooms. Good location for visiting relatives, comfy room with walk-in shower. Excellent breakfast choices plus evening meal very tasty. Lounge area extremely comfortable, well stocked bar.
