We were given room 313, so basic, facing a large rear flat roof, minimal natural light. The room bares no reflection to the room s shown in the website. At 7.30am we have builders using blow torch right outside our windows. There materials were stored against our window wall. When I complained to reception and told them we need to move to a new room the lady said sure but you have to pay! I refused, moved to a side room, better but still basic. The hotel has no residents bar, it is so basic and room 313 is like a cell.

The hotel is very old, even upgraded room is very old inside I didn’t get my welcome gift as a loyalty member Personnel on the welcome desk is not welcoming at all Construction around the hotel doesn’t help to improve the impression of the stay

The Reception staff were all courteous, professional and friendly. My room was changed quickly when I mentioned that there was quite a lot of noise after 11 p.m. and I really appreciated the 'upgrade' they gave me overlooking the gardens, which was very peaceful, though I didn't ask for it...
