11 of us enjoyed the Movie & Burger Night in the private cinema..Great service, Superb burgers, popcorn, sweets with our Movie- a totally fabulous evening!! Thank you, Mantis No 5!! From the time we arrived at Reception, we were welcomed so warmly, and this continued in the Lounge, with drinks service, followed by dinner and our Movie- We were treated like Royalty!!

Great hotel, amazing decor and really friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is near Port Elizabeth airport and the hotel is only too happy to arrange transport to the airport. The rooms were really comfortable and the location was good too. We only stayed for one night but were made to feel really welcome.

Very stylish boutique hotel a block from the seafront. The beds were very comfortable and no expense spared with the fixtures and fittings. Lovely balcony. Pool OK but needed a bit of a clean. Restaurant nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Mostly a business place as not much to do in the immediate city.

We extended our stay by one day having decided to move on from the previous game reserve which did not suit us and were so glad we did so. We stayed in Room 9 in the "2010" building across the road from the main building. With it's own lounge, dining area and small kitchen facility and a small swimming pool. The room was spacious and comfortable with large bathroom with tub and separate shower as well as a small garden too. Absolutely delightful. The hotel has a wonderful collection of various forms of art and there is a lovely book detailing all the pieces. Breakfast was good and we ate several times in the Jazz restaurant (see separate review). Staff friendly and helpful and it is only ten minutes from the airport. Highly recommended.

We had actually planned to stay at Hotel No5 by Manis in Port Elisabeth for just one night, but after spending some hours here we decided to extend our visit. The level of hospitality is truly outstanding, making our stay incredibly welcomed, comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's incorporation of a wonderful art deco building with matching interior adds a distinctive touch to the overall experience. Staying in a place that seamlessly combines accommodation with a kind of museum creates a unique and enriching atmosphere, making the stay all . You just expect that Marlene Dietrich come down the staircase after filming the latest Josef von Sternberg Movie :-) The first night we stayed at the Executive Suite at Hotel No5 which is great. Elegantly designed and well-appointed, it provides a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities makes the stay in the Executive Suite truly memorable. For the second night we choose to stay at the presidential suite which, in our opinion, is a true masterpiece. The tasteful and authentic furnishings create an atmosphere of opulence and grandeur. As we then had to extend for even one more night the staff really cared about us and was very helpful. The hotel has a charming small pool area, offering a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Additionally, the on-site restaurant is of a high quality, we tried it for dinner and room service and were never disappointed. Our stay at Hotel No5 by Manis in Port Elizabeth was very nice, great service , an unique art deco museum setting and great rooms.
