It's a perfect location for DWT—quick check-in and room service. The room is brand new, upgraded, and has the best view of the Museum of the Future. The room was redone and cleaned at the most convenient time, thanks to Prashad, the housekeeper on my floor, who checked if I needed anything daily.

Generally a good quality 5 Star hotel in Downtown Dubai

Generally an excellent experience staying at the Fairmont Dubai. Close to good transport links with easy access to taxis and immediately outside a Metro station. Very friendly and accommodating staff with a good level of luxury to the rooms. The two bedroom suite we stayed in had panoramic views of the city (Sheikh Zayed Road) and equipped with a spacious lounge and 3 large bathrooms. Our rooms were serviced everyday by AFZAL on the 15th floor who was outstanding. He was always respectful and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a minor issue with the lack of hot water on day, which was addressed very quickly. The only issues were relatively minor but only mentioned as a hotel if this class probably should not have them: - Shower enclosures need magnetic strips to keep them closed as the small gap lets a small amount of water out, which could easily be avoided. - Screen cast didn’t work on the televisions and they could do with sound bars. - Sometimes the aircon struggled to cool the rooms down, especially if one opened up the curtains in the morning. - The soundproofing from the outside and in between rooms could be better. Note that the above mentioned points are not a significant drawback but the reason why it doesn’t get the full 5 stars. We would be happy to stay there again in the future.

We were recently stranded in Dubai due to the flooding and ended up being welcomed at the Fairmont. What a fabulous place. We really couldn't fault it - rooms clean, beds comfy, food at buffet delicious. Staff very friendly and smiling. Highly recommend.
