Nice located hotel in the heart of the city next to Taksim place. A warm welcome at the reception. The rooms are very comfortable. Excellent bar service by Mr. Farmaan, very professional and friendly! We recommend this hotel for a stay in Istanbul 🙌🏽

I found this hotel generally very good. The hotel, room, breakfast, pool and staff were all very good. The location was very good. You can get to the airport quite easily via the metro system (M2 and M 11) if you do not want to take a taxi. Taksim metro is just around the corner and a short walk will take you to the T1 Tram stop into Sultanahmet. The only downside was the loud music from the top floor bar. It's every night and stops around midnight to 1AM. We were on the 7th floor with a Bosphorus view. I believe the bar is on 9th floor. I'm guessing with a cheaper room on the other side of the building, it will have been be a lot quieter? I know it was not all night, but as far as I'm concerned and at this price point, it's not acceptable. It's a-shame because I did like this hotel.

Amazing stay at Sofitel Taksim place hôtel. Well located, confortable room, nice Breakfast, in front of Taksim place and of public metro and local transports. A special shout out to the amazing Ankit at the Millenium lounge. Always smiling, really helpfull and going to the extra miles for his guest. He made our stay at Sofitel wonderfull and unforgotable. Thank you Ankit for your dedicated services with us and the family and do not change please. You are an important asset for Sofitel and ALL ACCOR GROUP of hotels and I know for sure that you carreer with them will be a success. I am travelling all year long all over the world and I did not see many employees like you. You're a star in ALL ACCOR galaxy !!!!

Excellent service. Very nice staff, knowledgage and helpful. Highly recommend the stay here. Be sure to be guided by Ankit rana. Very good rooms and food. The hotel location is also great. Their rooms are spacious. The people are very very helpful

Khun win aung was a great and kind cleaner as i saw no flow in the organization of the room. Everything was in its place, the water was always refilled and the towels were always renewed which gave me a fresh feeling and made me really enjoy my experience.
