Staying here was a big mistake for our trip to Adelaide. Thought it looked like a nice 5 star hotel that had been renovated meaning everything would be new and working. We were wrong! The looks are nice but very cosmetic. The structure is still old. AC doesn't work properly and left for uncomfortable time in the room. The desk staff were hardly visible and when were they didn't even attempt to great people as they walked past and ignored. Very let down from this stay.

Great location for everything and very comfortable.

Stayed with a group for AFL Gather Round. Our room was very comfortable, had both breakfast and dinner which was good. Bar had a good selection and cocktails on our visit were delicious. Used the pool which was a nice temperature and found a library for some quiet time. Central location for football or Rundle Mall, also a short walk to most restaurants. Staff very friendly and Kylie was extremely helpful and excellent in her service. Bed was and pillows were good. Would happily come back next time in Adelaide.

Ideally located within walking distance to Adelaide Oval and public transport. Close to markets and lots of eating places. Hotel restaurant superb meals. Friendly helpful staff. Great pool, sauna and spa. Definitely good experience would recommend andcstay there again in a heart beat.

This is a well located, stylish, hotel which added significantly to our very positive experience of Adelaide. The room was spacious the bathroom luxurious and the facilities first class. Breakfast was very good with a range of high quality options . I would most definitely recommend this hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO HAVE NO SLEEP AND SWEAT ALL NIGHT. This place is terrible, they have the worst duct air conditioning system that barely works in every single room! This was the second time I've stayed here and AGAIN the rooms were SO HOT, I literally couldn't even sleep the first night and told the reception how hot it is, and they sent a rude maintenance man to my room to tell me the aircon is working fine, how laughable. And according to their previous reviews the hot aircons have been an ongoing problem for AGES! yet they continue to charge full price and do nothing about it! This was supposed to be a birthday vacation for me when it really ended up being torture! They even have pedal stool fans on the go for people to take to their rooms because they've had that many complaints about the hot as hell rooms! This place is a dump, do not come here you are better off staying home where you can actually get a good night sleep. And yes, I will continue to share my review on every one of your pages because people deserve to know your low standards are disgusting, DO BETTER. Instead of writing a reply, how about you go and have a meeting with management and actually come up with a solution for your terrible aircons.

Dear Emma, I have responded to your review on Google which I am pasting below. Once again, I am very sorry this has happened, especially as it was a celebratory stay. We have taken steps to ensure that certain rooms are not sold when temperatures rise to a certain level which is all we can do for now. Luckily, as i said, it only happens on a handful of days per year. "Dear Emma, Thank your for choosing to stay with us. I am sorry to read that about your experience. I understand you stayed with us on the few days that Adelaide experienced a heat wave that brought extreme temperatures. The disadvantage of having floor to ceiling windows is that, on the very few days of the year with extreme temperatures, the rooms heat up if the curtains are drawn. I'm sorry this happened during your stay. I understand our maintenance manager attended and advised that the unit was blowing out at 20 degrees but that obviously couldn't keep up with the heat being generated from the windows. The team also moved you to a lower floor to reduce the direct exposure to the sun and provided a fan to assist in the air circulation on the room but these obviously did not resolve the matter. Once again, please accept my apologies for what you experienced, if you would like to discuss this further or, next time you intend to come to Adelaide, please contact me directly on victor.faisca@peppers.com.au so I can assist.
