The hotel is located very centrally in Belgrade, which is very convenient with easy access almost everywhere. And I think the above is the only great thing about his hotel, as other than that is quite average. Although my original communication with the team regarding my booking seemed started good, when I sent an email regarding some specific questions, I never got a reply back. Upon check-in, I clearly stated that I wanted to prepay my accommodation, including any related taxes, so that upon checkout I had no extra worries and make it an easy and fast one. I was reassured that I was charged with the total amount, only to find upon checkout that there were some extra taxes that I had ro pay. I believe it was a misunderstanding from the hotel staff, who insisted though they had explained everything. In general, staff were not that accommodating nor the kind of people that show genuine interest to the guest, more like a "we're here to just do the job". The hotel itself, is rather worn and needs some kind of renovation. The room was very basic, it had a side street view, which I didn't mind. What was very odd was that the toilet seat was in a little separate room, by itself. It felt like a punishment room or something, very weird. We asked for body lotion, but it smelt so bad that we bought our own. Breakfast was basic too. Very standard, only with a few local products. I really liked a kind of spead they have, something between butter and yogurt, with a very soft texture, which was very tasty. Overall, for a 4* hotel there is definitely room for improvement in many levels. I think that you can find much better service in another hotel.

Хорошее расположение отеля. Приветливый и дружелюбный персонал. Заселили раньше по готовности номера. Девушка на стойке ресепшен очень помогла с арендой автомобиля доя нас, спасибо ей огромное.

Very pleasant, friendly efficient staff. Excellent breakfast, good restaurant. Had a pleasant solo evening in the restaurant where I fiscovered some great local wines. Staff efficient and knowledgeable. They were helpful and gave hood recommendations

Had an amazing stay at the Mercure Excelsior in Belgrade. Was there during the holiday season and the hotel had a lovely cheery coziness about it. The reception staff were as friendly and welcoming as can be, both relaxed and professional. Room was clean and comfortable with some tasteful boho touches in the decor. Not to mention the stunning views on the parliament building, especially all lighted in the night. Location could not be improved upon, being within walking distance of all the central attractions. Looking forward to stay again next time!
