Major problem with this hotel is the location / lack of soundproofing. We were kept up until 2am by the next door nightclub which made this the worst hotel experience of my life. Whilst this is out of the control of the hotel directly, this was the furthest from the experience we were expecting given 5 star venue. We complained to reception the morning after and we were told complaints to council had been made but we wpuld never stay here again and could never advise friends to stay here. It was our first trip away from our young children and we slept worse then at home with our 1 year old! No issues with the room or facilities except for the translucent toilet in the corner of the room which is unusual but we have been married long enough that this isn't a huge problem for us the same way it would be for younger couples or newlyweds or friends. Due to the noise issue I can't see this hotel generating any return custom.

My husband and I booked a night away and decided to book a suite at the Pullman in Rotorua. From the moment we were greeted in Reception to when we left the service was outstanding. The staff were so friendly, but our room.....Wow, wow, wow! So impressed, the suite was situated on the top floor and looked out towards the city. A beautiful bath with provided salts was the perfect way to end the evening with a glass of bubbles. I didn't want to leave, it was hands down the loveliest room I have ever stayed in.

5 stars all round

We stayed in one of the suites and had a fabulous time. The room was great - what a view from the top of the tallest building in Rotorua, well appointed, clean and modern too. Every staff member was super friendly and helpful, no faulting the service. The breakfast was yum, great selection of stuff and all well done. Just get in early for the donuts (I got the last one!). Will definitely be back as one night was not enough.

We have stayed here many times. This was our poorest experience. We are ALL/ACCOR silver members. Stained linen. Safe had to changed 3 times as didn’t lock. Charges for coffees at breakfast if you don’t fancy machine coffee. Advised breakfast chef today that using a spoon that was used to handle ham/meat was not appropriate to dish out veggie choices for an omelette. I am not sure she understood the significance. We will not be staying here again.

Lovely hotel for a stay in Rotorua, within walking distance to many attractions in this area. Yna helped us at reception and was extremely professional and friendly, she even gave us a room upgrade with a beautiful lakeside view! All the staff were so helpful, we needed to call a company to confirm a trip and they helped us with this. Thank you for making our trip memorable.
