The Fairmont Singapore is the perfect hotel for a family or professional looking to have a central location with great amenities, superb food and seamless access the public transport system. The Fairmont is located in the Raffles Place mall which has an array of eating and shopping options basically at your hotel room. The hotels location above the City Hall MRT station is perfect for getting around the city quickly and after a long day of travelling and sightseeing having the station at your doorstep is a real bonus. The hotel rooms are modern and spacious with everything you would expect from the 5 star hotel. They are kept clean and serviced impeccably and the views from the city view rooms back towards the city and Marina Bay are fabulous. Great rooms also for families as there are not alot of options in Singapore that have rooms with two double or twin beds as this room did. Other amenities in the hotel such as the pool and bar were great. Spacious and clean and well maintained the pool was great for relaxing after a lot of walking. There are many restaurants in the hotel to choose from and the sister hotel the Swisshotel which is connected also has some good options so you are really spoiled for choices the breakfast buffet at the Fairmont is extensive and excellent and the staff are fantastic. Finally the staff, all were professional, friendly and efficient and great with our kids. They couldn’t do enough for us and went out of their way to make sure our every detail was looked after. Superb hotel, will return and would highly recommend.
