Raffles Singapore is an unparalleled hotel in Singapore. It’s in a class of its own. What really makes it stand out is not just the physical location or the hotel facilities but the AMAZING staff. They truly make it a home away from home. We were pampered and looked after. The staff were like well-oiled machine. So THANK YOU VERY MUCH James Tan and Yu Xuan, our super star butlers. Also last but not least, we’d like to extend our appreciation to the front desk staff, the doormen, the dining team, the pool team, the housekeeping team and the chef who prepared our beautiful supper. Oh, don’t forget the join the history tour with Mr Nazir, he’s walking encyclopaedia of the Raffles Hotel. We will be back !

Raffles Hotel Singapore gets everything absolutely right. The building is astonishingly beautiful architecturally, the recent revamp, masterfully executed. The rooftop pool has the perfect temperature water and the loveliest staff taking care of you. All was perfectly appointed with every detail perfect. And it’s user-friendly. Rooms are equipped with iPads that do all the mechanics of the room simply and effectively. Food is excellent too. I think this one of the most beautiful hotels in the world. The level of taste is very high

The most amazing Afternoon Tea in The Grand Lobby …what can I say but staff are so attentive the food is sublime and choices of tea exquisite I have been to many afternoons teas in UK and in world but this one tops them all a must do for anyone coming to this wonderful country

Was on the “must do” list not only for this trip but a proper bucket list location. Did not disappoint. Staff were super friendly. Had the mandatory Singapore Sling and the 1915 vintage. They do a good mocktail too. We got there early (before midday) and there wasn’t a queue, but there was definitely one when we came out. They controlled the numbers to maintain the vibe, but at no point did we feel hurried. Dropping the peanut shells on the floor felt a little weird. Not a habit to take home. Not cheap, but worth every $

We indulged in Raffles world renowned Afternoon Tea as flyby visitors to the hotel. The colonial architecture sets the scene as one is ushered into the open dining area, just off the expansive lobby. The service was efficient bordering on warm, and very soon we were treated to a well thought out selection of sandwiches, savouries, pastries and no end of tea and coffee. We just had to mark the occasion with Singapore Slings which didn’t disappoint. Curiously, when making the booking, it was impressed upon us that we had to dine within a very set time-slot…however, on the day, there was no pressure as regards other patrons queuing for the next available table…small point that didn’t take from an otherwise wonderful experience.
