Stayed here mainly because it was a good price and close to the train station. The room was clean and had good wifi. I just used it as a home base. I didnt eat or use any of the facilities at all. I would stay again if I got it for the same price for a home base.

I booked a wheelchair accessible double room at the Ibis Budget Basel City for 2 nights because it was the only one available. The hotel is close to Basel train station (10 min walk) and 2 stops on tram 11, 10 or 16. The city centre is about 20 min walk or with the tram 11, 10, 16 you will be there in max 15 min. The hotel, like all hotels in Basel, provides a tram pass to use during your stay. The room was larger than expected, like all the Ibis hotel, you don't have a wardrobe and they only provide shampoo/body wash toiletries in adition to the towel. The room was well lit and quiet, so no problems for sleeping even being close to the train tracks.

We stayed at Ibis Budget hotel for 2 nights with our 4-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, during this stay, no matter how careful we were, our daughter hit her head on the top bunk four times. The last time she hit it very hard and her head was severely swollen. No precautions were taken on the part of the upper bunk beds where heads could hit. It could have been covered with sponge or a different precaution could have been taken. We hurriedly asked for ice from the reception, but they said there was no ice! They told us to ask for ice from the next hotel, we rushed to ask for ice from the other hotel, they should have helped us with this. Also, yes, we made a reservation knowing that the rooms of Ibis are small, but after a certain age, the human body cannot handle such a small room, there is not even room to walk or put things in the room. The sink is in the room, next to the bed. The toilet does not feel private. There is also no water or tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Thin, towel-like things that don't look much like towels were placed for the family of three. There is no head towel, hand towel or hair dryer. Next time, I would prefer to pay a little more and stay in a hotel that provides even a little comfort. It was very annoying and sad when my daughter hit her head on the top bunk bed 4 times.

This is an excellent value. The hotel is relatively new, in good condition, and very clean. The desk staff are friendly and helpful. The lobby has a small lounge area, also with outdoor seating. As expected, the rooms are small, but are quite well designed with efficient use of space. The only aspect that I missed was the lack of a coffee or tea pot to heat water. The location adjacent to the train station is convenient. I will definitely stay here again.

Отель неплохой. Расположен достаточно удачно, недалеко от вокзала (до 10 минут пешком). Рядом остановка трамвая на котором по basel card можно быстро бесплатно добраться в нужную точку города, на вокзал или в старый город. Завтрак неплохой, не хватает горячих блюд, но в целом вполне удовлетворительно, много вкусных йогуртов, например, и неплохой кофе. На гарнир лишь вареное яйцо и к нему нарезка колбасы или ветчины, помидоры и оливки, творог. Сыры не вкусные.
