I arrived early this morning at my home away from home, having spent 130 nights here in the past 18 months. It is so wonderful to be greeted by people who remember me each time and welcome me with warmth and enthusiasm. I am really impressed at how well the hotel has responded to the recent extreme weather event. The storm damage has been quickly repaired and the hotel is back to its regular high quality standard. A big shout out to Shasha who always looks after her guests with great care and a really lovely manner. Thank you to Carlos, Richard and Andrew for your support and professionalism as well. I look forward to another very enjoyable 3 weeks here. It makes being away from home and family so much easier!! Thank you to all at the hotel!!

I will share your comments with our team. I am sure that this feedback will serve as an encouragement to all of our staff as we strive to continuously improve the quality of our services. I would like to also clarify about the mentioned comments. Our standard check-In time is at 15:00 and due to busy operations, there are times where we are not able to accommodate your family for early check-in which is subject to availability. As for the breakfast, on the first day it is not a part of the reservation since check in time is 15:00H. In regards with the calls from WhatsApp's or Telegram, we unfortunately do not have any control over it as it is from the UAE authority. All the staffs are nice and accommodating, especially Allen of the reception, she is very nice and accommodating. She's also very efficient at her job. The hotel has very nice ambiance, clean and has good service. It's in the city center so it's very accessible.

Disappointing stay definitely not a 5 star!

Stayed for one night which was yesterday , booked as a couples stay with my reservation confirming a double bed. Was given two twin beds, was not made aware of this when checking in. Only noticed when we were allocated the room. I spoke to the check in desk who said they were sorry but they’re full and cant offer me a double bed. And when booked via a third party the number of guests on the booking are not confirmed which I found ridiculous. After repeating myself several times that I wasn’t happy with a twin room, housekeeping was sent to join the two twin beds together. Why they couldn’t just do this in the first place I don’t know. Booked a superior room, carpet was dirty and stained, found a nail clipping on the floor, the room was dingy and dark definitely not spacious as advertised the view consisted of dirty windows and a tower block. The Balmain toiletries seemed cheap knock offs and smelt of nothing. Was less than a luxury experience definitely not a 5 star hotel. Id say a 4 star maximum. The lifts were extremely slow often with long ques to use them. Breakfast was organised chaos! Nobody to greet us and give us a table. Not asked if we would like any tea of coffee. Staff seemed rushed off their feet. The only positive was the variety of food they had for breakfast. Room was 1440 and I could hear the next door room occupants shrieking until late hours in the night. A truly disappointing stay after a long days travel and first night in Abu Dhabi.
