In general, the Fairmont Rio hotel team has hospitality in their hearts, and the first one to demonstrate it is the Capitao Rafael. Immediately upon arrival, he explains the direction for check-in and takes care of the luggage. It seems simple, but it makes you feel cared for.

Our stay at The Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana was amazing - beautiful public spaces, attentive staff, fabulous pools, delicious restaurant and bar offerings, and a lovely beach club immediately across from the property. I would highly recommend considering when visiting the city.

This was definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. It was my first time in Rio and Brazil and what a great way to start my journey in Brazil. My flight was delayed so I arrived to the hotel around 3am and was graciously greeted by the warm and friendly Pedro at the front desk. I work in hotels for over a decade and in all of my years this was the best check in i've ever experience. Pedro was so kind and hospitable. He made me feel right at home as soon as I arrived and all my stress of traveling went away. Pedro is an amazing talent and the Fairmont Rio is lucky to have him on their team. My room was spacious and comfortable. loved the beds and amenities in the room too. I had a city view room but honestly had great views on the ocean too. Beds were comfortable and housekeeping service was perfection. My favorite areas were the pools on the 6th floor. Depending where the sun hits, you can choose the pool the is getting the direct sunlight. The pool facing the ocean has some of the best views i've seen in Rio. My partner and I dined quite often by the pool and was served by wonderful team members. I'd like to mention Ronny by the pool who served my partner and I quite often and always took care of us. And wanted to give a shoutout to Carlos by the pool who was excellent with us and so nice. When I come back to Rio, I surely will stay here again as I loved this property and the team so much.
