If you accept this hotel at it's rating it is very good. It doesn't pretend to be anything but an Ibis in the centre of a small town. It does need a bit of an upgrade but we found it clean and warm. The staff were great and friendly. The room was large enough and comfortable. Good shower with the standard Ibis squeezy toiletries. Breakfast was fine and readily replenished - not a wide choice but enough to start the day. Car parking is easy underneath down a side street. If theneed arose would not hesitate to stay again.

This hotel is well located for central Agen. It is clean but in need of a fair bit of tidying up, the paintwork was not very good in either the bedroom or bathroom, it was generally tired and sad, the towels old and rough. The room we had was small, no room for two to move around comfortably, There is wifi included but no coffee making facilities. We did not have breakfast included so went out. It is convenient if you need to be Agen based but needs some work.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and it’s been very good on both occasions. Nice breakfast in the morning as well, but this wasn’t included in the price. Overall a really good no frills hotel that sell a nice pint of beer in the bar.

A more basic style of hotel including good buffet breakfast. Room was small & airconditioning not yet turned on at end of May, & street below a bit noisy to have the window open. Location a short walk from the train/bus station & central to shops & restaurants. Would suggest paying extra if possible for a larger room. Staff friendly & helpful.

Think twice before booking.

I regret this review because we have been loyal satisfied customers of Ibis hotels for 25 years ( including 2 others this trip), but this sadly was the worst Ibis we ever stayed in. To be fair, it is inexpensive, yes the location is good (see below), and the bathroom, bed, and breakfast are the usual good Ibis standard, but this was the dirtiest Ibis room we have ever stayed in. Furnishings are old, the keyed door lock is primitive, curtains, walls and ceilings were stained, the bed headboard, window and wall trim, and bedside lamps were knocked and dented. The room was in a dirty state not at all typical of Ibis, and definitely not 3 star. When we mentioned the state of the room in the morning the staff member made no gesture of apology, only saying, yes, some painting is planned. When I exchanged a stained roll of toilet paper, the desk person rolled her eyes and said, "Ooo la la!!". Unacceptable. The other reason to think twice is that all the streets around the hotel are now under reconstruction, and your GPS may have significant trouble working its way through a maze of blocked, one way streets. Regrettably, this Ibis was a serious disappointment.
