I have been saying with the Accor Group of hotels for over 40 years and I have to say this one is right at the bottom of the pile with very few positives . The main positives are the shower and hard working lady at breakfast Location is in the middle of a commercial park with a huge factory view from the back of the hotel , where our room was . Lights on all night Triple glazing so no road noise thankfully . A hypermarket is ten minutes walk away . As is the bus stop with the No3 taking you into town . The welcome was not the best . Despite silver Accor group membership , which normally means a complimentary drink ,we where advised the hotel offered complimentary water fountain ?! It’s not about the drink it’s the lack of acknowledgment. We where then advised the restaurant was closed only when I asked can we make a reservation , not ideal when there is so little nearby except a Bar grill . Which offers average food for a reasonable price to be honest but not what I expected . Again despite being booked for over 9 months , no advise email to say restaurant closed was sent The room was fine except for weird smell , stale smoke I suspect . The towels where very thin but the bed nice and comfy and as mentioned the shower great . As with all the Accor group toiletries have been massively down graded with ‘one for all ‘ approach from a dispenser . Bar service was non existent unless you wanted to order via a QR code , which ironically offered full restaurant service despite restaurant being closed . Half the wines where out of stock and the prices buried so deep in the scrolling we gave up and went to our room. No complimentary hot drinks in reception as with many Ibis Styles and no machines in room , so bring a kettle and own coffee … Staff seemed non plussed in offering local advise , when we enquired about buses the chap seemed surprised , he said he could offer us cabs ?! 1.35€ into town and 20 minutes journey is perfect on the bus by the way 👍🏼 Breakfast was poor with very little choices except serial and a few pasteries , cheese and bread . Cereal and poor fruit . Sliced bread would have helped of even boiled eggs . Not the hook it used to be with Ibis Styles .

But today, I and my young children were left without an overnight stay due to the discriminatory violation of my rights and the rights of my young children on the grounds of nationality, belonging to the Russian Federation. I booked two rooms for one night from 20 to 21 August 2022 for my family for two adults and two children aged 6 and 10 at the IBIS Poznan Polnoc hotel at the address: Konwaliowa 3 /Forteczna 62002 SUCHY LAS POLAND via the application on your network's smartphone . I booked from my account, where it is indicated that I am a citizen of the Russian Federation. I received an email and an application that my booking was confirmed, it was assigned a unique number: LPQDDGJW. There is no information about restrictions in relation to citizens of the Russian Federation either in the information letter or on the hotel website in relation to citizens of the Russian Federation and cannot be, since the hotel provides a public offer and is obliged to provide a service to any person who applied for such a service. However, upon arrival at the hotel, the hotel receptionist Jackovski Mateush refused to check in for me and my young children on the grounds that we were citizens of the Russian Federation, refused to name the law of the Republic of Poland or the government decree by which he was guided. I asked to invite the manager of the IBIS Poznan Polnoc hotel, to which I was told that he was not there and that he would only be in a few hours. I demanded to contact him by phone and get clarification. The hotel receptionist contacted the manager of IBIS Poznan Polnoc by name (according to the manager at the reception) Krolikowski Bartlomiej by phone and explained the situation to him. However, the manager of IBIS Poznan Polnoc Krolikowski Bartlomiej gave a categorical instruction to the receptionist not to accommodate me and my children in the reserved rooms. At my request to give me a written refusal to check in, since they had to write off money from me for the reservation in the amount of 272.18 PLN, the receptionist, and then the manager of the IBIS Poznan Polnoc Krolikowski Bartlomiej hotel (by phone) categorically refused to give such a document. I am a Russian human rights activist, a lawyer, I defend the brave citizens of the Russian Federation who oppose the Putin regime and the actions of the Russian authorities, I categorically oppose the war unleashed by the President of the Russian Federation Putin against Ukraine and its people. I myself am an ethnic Ukrainian and Pole, my ancestors were repressed by Stalin I.V. and sent beyond the Urals, to Siberia and miraculously survived. But at the same time, I also strongly disagree with the discrimination that I see and experience in Poland, one of the countries of the European Union, which, by joining the Union, has signed commitments to rigorously uphold and follow the values ​​of the European Union. Otherwise, everything that Russian President Putin is striving for will come true, everything he says about the lack of any rights and freedoms in Europe, that everyone is really only pretending, will come true. I consider the actions of the employees and the manager of IBIS Poznan Polnoc Krolikowski Bartlomiej as discriminatory against me and my children on the basis of nationality and belonging to a particular country. I ask you to consider this appeal as an official claim, based on the results of which I am ready to apply for protection in court in connection with the violation of my rights and the rights of my children. Ideally situated, minutes from the main road. Clean, tidy and modern, and plenty of parking, and there is a bar and restaurant. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fine, but we had dinner on arrival and it was poor and expensive. Set in commercial outskirts, so restaurants nearby. Would stay again for a stopover but would bring something to eat for the evening.

We stopped here on our way from the Alps to Calais. Location is really handy to the motorway. We chose this above the budget or other ibis as it had the restaurant in-house and we wanted the convenience. None of the meal options catered for gluten or dairy intolerances, so we ended up with a packet of crisps we had brought along. Really disappointed and hungry. Breakfast was included but similar issue. It did mean we got a start on the journey early the following day, as we were starving.

A old old hotel located near round about coming from motorway exit to city, near a supermarket and a plant producing glass bottles!!!! No way to keep windows opened!!!! A so so welcome when you booked 2 rooms on quite side not close to each other, 6 weeks before and the receptionist gives you 2 rooms sticked, front face hotel to the main way and plant and tells you that climatisation is broken and do not want to change you rooms because now he is full!!! at 10pm!!! and even does not give you water for free!!! Bast..d!!! We almost did not sleep!!!! Breakfast organisation was a pure bord..l!!! Nothing organized properly with a poor asian waiter running everywhere when a french one not mooving.... A mess Never ever in this called hotel which is just a chicken cage!!!
