You get what you pay for with Ibis Budget but unfortunately this often does not include a plug for the wash basin or a proper dropped kerb at the entrance to the car park. This latter is particularly irritating for the rider of a fully laden motorcycle.

We stayed here for three nights in August so that we could travel to Vichy. A good price for three nights accomodation, rooms clean, beds comfortable, peaceful at night and easy drive to Vichy. Staff excellent, couldnt do more for us, even ordered us a take away. Breakfast area was opened up in the evening so we could sit and eat when it was a bit cool or wet outside. All in all, ideal stay for what we needed. I'd stay again without doubt!

Excellent service and particularly warm welcome for me and my 2 dogs. Given room on ground floor and hotel set in safe enclosed grounds where they dogs could run free. Will definitely stay in this hotel again - Ibis chain is excellent in general but in particular for dog owners!

We had a room towards parking area for one night with breakfast. positive: closed private parking, cheap, clean, new built in 2014 neutral: breakfast was okay for the price (no cold meat) negative: - Helpful to find good restaurant in town.

Used this budget hotel for one night stop over on way to South Of France. The hotel staff were friendly and the room although basic was clean. Wifi worked well and there was ample secure parking. Like most ibis budget hotels there is no restaurant on site but there is an area where breakfast is available at an additional cost. Biggest draw back is that this hotel is too far out of the town and you need to drive to get to any of the restaurants. Couple of other niggles, rooms at the front of the hotel face a very noisy road. You can eliminate some of the noise by keeping the window closed but at the time we stayed it was very hot and although there was an air condoning unit in the room it was pretty ineffective. Would suggest asking for a room over looking the car park.
