We’ve stayed at an Ibis hotel in the past but this was better. Very modern and clean and near to a Metro station as well as a bus stop outside. Housekeeping staff keep the rooms very clean. Receptionist Chara was very helpful, kind and considerate when my daughter thought she’d dropped her passport at the airport when we arrived; turned out she hadn’t but her kindness was much appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble for the reception staff as they booked us early morning taxis on two days to get to the city centre. Hotel is wheelchair accessible. The lifts very quickly get you to your floor. The minor drawback is that the hotel is on a busy road with noisy traffic but not too loud at night and no intrusive noise from other rooms. Overall a hotel we would come back to.

A five day treat in athens.

We stayed at this great hotel all the staff were very nice & friendly, the hotel is modern with a nice large room we stayed in 609 on the balcony roof, The breakfast was really nice & plentyful With lots of variety, We reccomen this hotel & would bisit again with no problem, 15 minute walk to the acropolis site Tips the roads are very busy with fast traffic.

Wonderful hotel - immaculately clean , great welcome from all staff , great breakfast . Very spacious room with tea and coffee . Nothing too much trouble for the staff who were so helpful . I had a room at the front so traffic noise was not great during the day but much quieter at night . It’s about a 25 minute walk to the action but there is a metro close by and we took taxis to the Plaka . Great find

IBIS Hotel Athens CHARA - is RECEPTIONIST Great Receptionist. Informed me how to use the metro to get to airport to retrieve my wheelchair I left behind. Her accurate instructions helped get me back more than relieved with my wheelchair.. She also let me borrow a plug to charge my phone. People like her are a blessing in disguise & a great asset to the co. & need to be applauded!

We stayed for 2 nights before boarding a cruise. Staff were friendly, and check-in was easy. Tourist tax paid in cash. Given key cards and directed to lifts. Very bright artwork adorns the walls similar to a childrens school! The room was spacious with a large window overlooking a busy street. Small bathroom with a large walk-in shower and toilet cramped behind the door. Breakfast was plentiful with great selection. 20 minutes to walk to Plaka along a mostly derelict street, numerous vehicle body part businesses and uneven paving, endless streams of traffic,and minimal safe crossing points! Area doesn't feel safe to walk along.
