All we needed was a place to stay on our way to Braganca from Porto. I've booked this Ibis without even checking reviews. Ibis is usually a safe choice, nothing amazing, but does the job. And then.. the buidling from the outside is marvellous! We managed to park the car just outside. Room on the back, with a small balcony, was very comfortable. I especially liked the breakfast room downstairs, with preserved medieval pieces underneath the glass floors. Food OK, nothing extraordinary but sufficient. Definitely a great choice to stay. Also, Chaves itself is a hidden gem and not to be missed!

We only stayed one night as part of a longer N2/Portugal tour road trip but if I could give a mark more than excellent I would. We were so very impressed with this hotel - one of the best surprises of our trip. That ibis can take an old building, bring it back to life and turn it into a hotel without charging people a load of money to stay there is fantastic. Well done Ibis :=) We won't be returning to Chaves since it was part of our longer trip but we will definitely be looking out for Ibis Style in the future. Our room wasn't enourmous, but everything we needed was in there with storage for clothes and a very comfy bed - we both had a good sleep. Bathroom was good with a big walk in shower and plenty of hot water.

Hotel żeby sprzedać dużo pokoi dał pokoje trzyosobowe dla 3 osób dorosłych jak dla rodziny z małym dzieckiem. Hotel miał listę, daty urodzenia i inne dane.

Exmo Senhor(a) P., Agradecemos a preferência pelo Ibis Styles de Chaves. Lamentamos o sucedido, no entanto gostaríamos de frisar que a distribuição dos quartos foi feita de acordo com o vosso pedido limitando-nos a seguir a rooming list por vós enviada. Quanto aos cartões são sempre feitos um por quarto e só em caso de solicitação por parte do hóspede na receção é que serão feitas novas chaves. Devido a problema informático sucedeu esse transtorno com as chaves, na qual procuramos resolver imediatamente, sendo que só ocorreu em algumas situações. Contudo lamentamos todo o transtorno causado.. Atenciosamente, A equipa do Ibis Styles de Chaves

I have stayed in Ibis hotels before and they are good value . I didn’t realise what a step up the ibis styles is. In particular the staff could big have been more welcoming and helpful / they really couldn’t do enough for me to help prepare my bike for the start of the N2 ride. Highly recommended.

Excellent location, super clean & good service. I travel often in business to Chaves, it's always my first alternative. The building is beautiful and has the particularity of having breakfast in a room where Roman ruins are visible. I strongly recommend.
